11-15 Unhindered Life: Unhindered Gospel 11 AM

Father we thank you today that by the power of your holy spirit that you open your eyes that we can see and ears that we were here and our hearts it will be receptive to what you would say speaks so clearly to us today in Jesus name amen. And amen today work continuing in our series talking about unhindered life and just as a a bit of a just a reminder unhindered talking about I under unhindered life is about living a life where there's no restrictions as forth the blessings in the Floor of God in our lives and how God will move in our lives that we don't want anything and I want that would hinder that flow because it's what I do know and I think you would agree as well that there's nothing in this world greater than the power of God. Can somebody say Amen to that it when we look at that. I want us to talk about today about the power of the unhindered gospel and I say that when I'm, unhindered gospel I'm talking about where the gospel is flourishing and growing and we look at it. We going to see it that in like it. Any other time that the power of the Gospel still there that there is no nothing in this world that can hinder gods were because God says this I watch over my word to perform it. And he didn't leave it to anybody else. And so I would say God is watching over his word to perform it. And I know that there's nobody greater than God. And so whatever God has said, I just got to put two and two and two together and can help you come up with the right answer is I keep going that there's nothing wrong that can hinder the movement of a of the Lord and I know that the world that we live in with a climate of the day in which we live in and everything else is going on around us. The world would make us think that the Bible or God's word is not that really powerful enough to change a live to change circumstances or change our nation because we think that all of this other stuff that's out there would hinder God's word and I want to tell you today.

Listen to the title, but I want you to hear what we're saying to this morning because there are some things. If we're not careful, it will not hinder the power of God's word. It will hinder the power it will hinder the people of God from doing and speaking the word of God. Are you with me on that this morning? If you look at it, one of the first light if you go to put it up with ready to run the one of the things I want you to remind you of is one of the incredible evidence throughout history of the power of God moving in a fantastic way and bringing Comfort at the same time and comforting us at the same time everything that has gone on in the in the history of man. Even from the very beginning you think about Moses from that standpoint Moses stood before AC In God not because he stressed that the rod is an Act of Faith but God came in and he divided to see how many believe that we tell that story when we do we believe it and it happened because of what I've got power you think about you know, the the Daniel in the Lion's Den that we believe that story as well and Daniel in the Lion's Den in the lines. Will the lions were hungry, but they did not consume him. We believe that story and because of what it preaches and what spoke about we talked about as well as that in the Book of Daniel the three Hebrew boys that was thrown in a fiery furnace, but they were not consumed by the fire. We believe that story because it's in the Bible is a part of the gospel and we see God moving and each one of those those circumstances and in spite of the obstacles that people have felt they were facing that got moved in regards to his word and what he has promised he will do.

And I want to say today for all of us. Regarding the times in which we're living in that there is no force or system. They can stop the message of God's kingdom wear everything that we just said that we believe that there is there's no matter. There's no there's no system. They can stop God. There's no man. That's powerful enough to stop what God has intended to happen. I want to see I want us to get that not only in our heads but I wanted to get us in the heart of man. I wanted to get it in the heart because I'm telling you when we get it in our hearts and not it just stopped being hit knowledge because as we would all agree, we all know the stories. But has those stories got in our heart that we believe it with all of our hearts cuz we can recite them but they're cuz I recited don't mean I believe it.

The power is not in just a reciting of it, but the power is in what you believe about the gospel. In what we believe that I'm telling you it will change the way that you think it will change the way that you act it will improve it will Empower your walk because now you believe in the gospel and that's why I say that and I know that you know weirdo and I'll world there's a heated uncomfortable debate that's going on right now about our leader who the who's been elected who's presume to be elected who has think that hadn't only not all of the things that go on something is just Way Beyond what you know, I'm into I'm just into I want to be just into the word of God. I'm concerned about all of that. I want to make you some more concerned about it all.

But at the same point while I'm concerned about all of those things that's happening. I am focused on what God has called us to do as a church in the midst of all of that that's going on. He has called us to preach the gospel or Sarah word that will change all of those things as I shared in this morning service. I don't care who sits in that white house.

in that house No law that man can put on a book. Will it Raticate the problem in our nation? The problem in our nation is a sim problem. Because it is a sin problem. The only thing that correct the same problem is Jesus himself and when we get that we understand that Jesus is the only one that can run away to nothing. But what the blood of Jesus what's your make us whole again? What? Know where it says in there that I'm not talkin about the laws of our land because we need laws to keep us on guard and on porch, but only thing that's going to change the wickedness in our nation. Is that all we've been having lost from it for hundreds of years, but wickedness is still a bounded in the Bible says that as as it gets closer to Jesus coming back and I don't want to say oh my gosh, you just talk about Doom and Gloom I talk Bible. Look at the Bible. The Bible gives us Insight in a peep into what our future will be and he said when is Jesus gets closer to coming back and we're all saying come Lord Jesus. He says that wickedness is going to be around more and more lawlessness. It's going to continue to increase in the leg while we're waiting on Jesus to come back. In the only thing that can deal with those conditions in our nation is the is the word of God and Christ. I want to tell you because we are the we are the answer the church is the answer to the to the heartbeat of this nation. It's he who sits in Jesus house that makes a difference of the condition of our nation. Unless we're seeing this and we're looking through all of these things in the from the from the Viewpoint of where we sit at today as we talked about this unhindered God's will I would bring your attention to as time has gone on in history has continued to unfold in front of us. But there is throughout the ages that has always been people of God that has stood on the word of God to in the climate in which they live in that spoke the word of God that brought about change in the land. I'm telling you with all of my heart. What I believe is that was weed the church the people of God, we continue to live nuts the next 4 years what the eight years of the 16 years until Jesus comes back when we need a living and we are speaking the word of God. I know that we like me and that's nothing new. We may not just be facing the persecution in this nation Bucs persecution of the church is nothing new. We read about Saul and Paul Gasol was persecuting the church that was written in the Bible over a couple thousand years ago, and I'm not trying to make light of it. There's people that's being persecuted around this world today for their for their faith. When I say OK will let her just invade our land and just welcomed her know we're standing for a right, but at the same time we're not afraid of what may come when we stand up on the word of God. So we have to I said this morning we got to get strapped up. I'm not sitting next to weapon start walking around a pasture said strap up and is everybody got your pistol you got your package and I'm not talking about this cuz you guys are strapped up in here this morning bless the Lord.

But what I mean by that we got to get scrapped up with the word of the Lord in our hearts. That would ever make a way you got to look at me. Like what in the world. Where is he going? I'm just telling you. I'm just trying to tell you we got to get ready. What it is not time to work. Okay, let me know we should be ready right now. It's not like when the attack, attack is here already.

But when we look at it. And we are working through these things in life and we're working. Okay Lord. How are you? Got to move and let me get back on track here. How we going to move and how are you going to move it where we need to do and how do we need to walk? What's our assignment doing this season are Simoniz to for the kingdom of God to go forth? This might challenge for us today is for it's as hot as his kingdom in this God Delirious that's on the inside of us get out to affect the world looking and Acts chapter number 28. reverse 30

The contents of this is worse falling in the last chapter of the book of Acts 28 Paul here is the beginning of the very beginning of this chapter talks about he was they were Shipwrecked. I think I'm a title in a Malta and that's the same word starts off where Paul is collecting the firewood to put in to build a fire cuz they just, you know landed there on the island and what Paul is collecting the firewood together that they're building a fire trying to warm themselves around the fire. He sticks his hand, you know kind of Put Another Log on. The Fire in this Viper comes out or serpent pirate makes reference in the Bible comes out and grabs hold of him bites a middle course, everybody now is think okay. Hey man, God has you know, God is giving him what he deserves and that's kind of the beginning of the chapter how it unfolds and then Paul eventually. Makes it to Rome for the tell Lana because they know they set sail again and they make it to their destination and what we pick him up and verse 30 that now he is in prison. He's at on house arrest. He's waiting for his his day in court of the court of Caesar. Impala vs. Number 36 then Paul Doyle two whole years in a rented the house. So he's you know restricted, but there's some Freedom there. And received all who came to him Paul right there that you would think that man. This wasn't an ideal situation. This wasn't the perfect place to be but I want you to get the picture of it Paul is right there. You know where God has planted him and he's doing two things. He's preaching the kingdom of God. Preaching about the kingdom of God and his teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence and nobody was forbidding him. That's from the new King James underneath that same one. That's really quick from The New American Standard Bible. Is it that Paul state two full years in a rented house lodging and welcoming all who came to him? Preaching the kingdom of God and preaching things about the Lord Jesus Christ with an openness with all open this and I love what it says in The New American Standard Bible says unknown hindert. Can you believe what we start off in the book of Acts it that the book of Acts do they see Jesus commissioning the the disciples as he's sending up to heaven and tell him to go into all the world and and and preach the gospel and then the through the course of that as that begin to play out over the history of the of the church and it played out from that point to at the very end of the book of Acts. Not the end of the Bible book The End of This Book that Luke had written a temp and it says that Paul we find Paul they're still doing what Jesus and you're gorgeous a whole lot of things that we can talk about that happened in the context of the book of Acts, but we find Paul at the very end in prison for preaching the gospel. He says that the gospel was not being hindered from going forth. And I thought about that as we were just kind of preparing today. I was like man with some sometimes we Face uncomfortable circumstances and wife but the gospel still has to be free to talk about unhindering gospel the unhindered gospel than the unhindered gospel is not predicated on all out life just being comfortable for us and that we were preach the gospel only way it might Comfort but sometimes in our discomfort their life the word of God is still true. How many can say Amen when things are not working right God's word is still true when things are not going according to our plan God's word is still true and we still have to keep speaking that word in the good and in the bad times in the in the UPS in and I are down so we got to keep speaking that word because it makes a difference if you get what I love to say what it said hear about the Paul was facing his men. He was doing this on a continual basis and I thought about that sometimes you know, Text we can get twisted in life that you know, we can get twisted in life because we don't like like what life has dealt out to us and we don't like what life has dealt out to us. We can stop doing what God's will is for our lives. But even under those uncomfortable circumstances all kept preaching he kept teaching people about the kingdom about the principles of the kingdom of God. He kept teaching them about who Jesus was that Jesus was the one that came to pay the ransom for all of their lives and knowing this to be true and all of that. We know that the word of God is Unstoppable because from the beginning of Acts chapter 1 to the end of Acts chapter 28 people's lives were changed people were healed people were delivered people work was set free people was was filled with the spirit of God. There was just an increase in the kingdom of God it in you read through that chap. If you find that they faced some very uncomfortable churches that for the church was Got it all over the place and it says when it was scattered from Jerusalem, they went about preaching the gospel as it was being scattered all over the land. I want to bring this to our attention because it is not the gospel of the word of God that could be here. But sometimes in the course of life, it's the people of God that could be hindered from speaking. The word of God in the word of God is what brings about transformation the word of God is what brings about a change in all of our lives and it is God's intent for his word to get out in Matthew chapter number 24 verse number 14 and says and the good news about the kingdom. And the good news about the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world. So that what all nations everybody will hear it. How will they hear it unless we are what preaching it has faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. How do they increase in fate? How does a wasp know that there is a saving that's a senior for their lies is that somebody is preaching about it? I know sometimes we believe that there's so many hard cases out there that that God can't change this a guy. I just want to let you guys know that some of you was considered hard cases. I know we are saying right now. I know that we're looking good now and we know you know how to raise our hands right now and say holy holy is the Lord God Almighty, but there was a time of your life. You're raising your hands and you were saying everything, but holy, holy.

And now that we look at it we talk about what how can God change their like that? I look at it. If God changed my life. He can change their life. I know where save now I know we got it together. Now. I know that we know when we don't have a pack of this or a bottle this hanging off. I hope we don't we don't have it in there.

I don't want to let you know is that sometimes we can lose sight of what's really important? We can Loser on respect cuz at some point that some people are you know, I know we still owe me. I'm surprised that some people surprised if they walk up and they see you in church. Hey, man, I'm about to say a man. Don't work around anybody else. Cuz sometimes we going to look at you look at me.

But always somebody preach the gospel to you. That's why I want you to hear somebody somebody shared Jesus with you. I want to share Jesus with you. It changed something in your heart. In in because it changed something in your heart you surrendered your life to him. And God is called calling us the church to continue to do that on a everyday basis. I am surprised that so often we are church people can give up on people.

Just listen to me for a moment. Cuz we talked about a gospel that changes lives, but at the same time we can give up on people.

I'm glad I can talk for you. I'm glad God didn't give up on me. Did I say I'm going to do you know when I rejected him on the first time he needs his. Oh, okay, and I rejected him the third time. for the 4th time And I'm glad that when I sit in church, and I played the game. You know what? I ripped. My heart really wasn't sold for it on fire for him. And I really didn't long and passion for him. I didn't I didn't have that in my heart. I wasn't committed. I not at all.

But he didn't give up on us. He kept having people so season to our lives unto our hearts was changed and somebody say persistent or not to do it and it brought about a change in our lives. If I'm going this with the same. God didn't give up on us. Let's not give up on the world. That's out there. Let's not give up on your neighbor that you saying that man. I'm tired of every time I talk to them about Jesus. They don't want to hear that's all right, you just playing you figure out how to say in that dude here a little bit. You don't have to get the whole story in there at one time. You just got to get a little seed in there and then you move on because it's not you that will bring about a change. Anyway, let me just free us all. All right, it's not you that changes heart anyway.

How old is because one of the things that helped my marriage?

how to tell you She's in awe forgot. She's in the house last time. I was talking to you wasn't here. So, let me be real careful what I say today cuz but one of the things that changed my marriage when I realized I can't change my wife nor can she change me? We can share with each other we can talk to each other we can tell each other what it what it is. But the only thing that can change us is when God reveals a change that needs a chain take place in our lives. Because you can tell somebody here's what the gospel say. bunch of God reveals that to them I just hear you what you say. It's the power of God that has to reveal that to you. And so we have to keep sowing and we got to keep playing and we got to keep talkin because the gospel is not hindered and we can't worry about it. Cuz the Bible says that at some point increase God brings all about

Can we have to know if our part is let me just keep playing and let me encourage. Let me keep playing. Let me encourage. Let me keep playing let me encourage. Let me keep plenty and let me encourage. I know I want to play with you on this email. I prayed the prayer face with him, but I may not get a chance to pray that but let me keep playing it and let me keep encouraging I got to keep playing it. I got to keep encouraging I got to keep playing I got to keep encouraging I got to keep playing it. I got to keep encouraging I got to keep planning. I got to keep encouraged and we get sometimes we can get weary in that process. I got to keep planning got to get I got to keep playing. Thank God. I got to keep encouraging I got to keep plenty encouraging and we keep going through this system and see like nothing is coming through this system. But God has a system of how he does it. He knows that my word is going to come to pass. You. Just got to keep playing and you got to keep encouraging you got to keep planning. You got to keep encouraging some people are tired today, but you got to keep playing and you got to keep encouraging you got to keep planning. You got to keep encouraging one day. The increase is going to come in you I know you want to see I prayed the prayer face with you. You don't worry about that part. I got to got to get planning and I got to keep encouraging because I know.

My God can change hearts. I know that he can do those things in our lives that he's saying he's going to do when we find here and I love her as it said it said Paul's house was open to all that would come in here.

everybody that was here he was speaking to Hard cases soft cases of people that didn't agree in people that wanted to argue with him. But whatever the case was they were listening to the gospel.

In the Bible keeps going on and says it was without hindrance. There is nothing that man can do. I want you to hear this when we keep planning and keep encouraging there is nothing man can do or plot that will stop the kingdom of God. We just got to keep doing that part.

We look at over the life that Peter and other man, you can put the next slide up Peter other faithful men and women. a face opposition in preaching and teaching about Jesus and it did not stop them. challenge objects Today We Can't Stop I know it all the rhetoric that we hear out there in the in the lab, but I'm not worried about that.

I'm worried about what God's word says to us. I'm not worried about the opposition. I know that opposition is going to come. If we're just waiting on the best seasons of okay when this is a great season opposition will exist. Can you imagine Jesus when he was when he was on the cross that he says man? You know what I'm going to keep preaching because everybody agrees with me. I'm going to I'm going to keep dying because everybody agree with Jesus even in the face of opposition scuse me loving. Can you imagine if I'm not had to go to that extent were people yelling crucify him kill him and kill him.

That's what crucified mean kill talk to him cuz it wasn't an easy thing is a tour to that bike. Jesus kept loving even through the process. Because he knew on the other end what the outcome would be what what the outcome will be it so opposition is going to come my way. But we got to keep going forward. We got we got to keep talking to them about the love of God and how much God loves them. The thing that has Henry is sometimes we want to stop.

We're going to stop doing it. We want to get it ourselves that we want signal or it they rejected me. I wanted to play with them and they act looked at me like that was crazy.

But that didn't stop Jesus.

He said even when he hung on the cross, you know this he says Lord forgive them because they don't know what they do. You know, you you can't expect the world. Just hold on to this. You can't expect the ungodly the ACT Godly. Why do you think that they're going to act Godly?

They don't they don't know yet, but they're not you know why they're not going to hang out Lee. They don't know how to act Godly. They only know where all these stuff.

how to say a man so we can move on.

Will pause for a moment to make sure but not say that laugh flippantly or anything. I mean that's just the way it is. We all have to grow in the knowledge of who Jesus is when we grow and I walk in so ungodly people at Godley and so we have to teach them while they're teaching and training and molding and shaping and speaking to their lives are going to act in that way, but it can't stop us from loving them. They can't stop us from sharing important to their lives. We got a couple more minutes here and accept the number 5. Let's look at Birth number 25. This is zoom through that really quick here Acts chapter number 5 verse 25 gives this picture of you know, even in the face of opposition. That's what I want to talk about in the face of opposition. We Can't Stop from preaching Jesus. We can't stop from living according to God's word. We can't stop being a living living epistle a pencil where people see our lives and and they can see Jesus through our lives here what it says and here's what it says the first number 25, then someone came and said look the men will you put in jail or standing in the temple Court teaching Jesus in that that the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use Force because they feared the people would Stone them. The apostles were brought into in and made an appearance to the sanhedrin's to be questioned by The High Priestess. What is going on? I'm going to be set this that hear the the apostles Peter and all of the rest of the guys are told they don't no longer preach the name in the name of Jesus there now standing before the Sanhedrin is the same heaters is the religious Council that rude over the Jewish people in the Roman Empire. And so they were they were all gathered together. It looks listen to what they said. We gave you strict orders not to teach you this name. Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man blood Peter Beat Goes On from verse number 29 begins to make this appeal but Peter and the other Apostles reply. We must obey God rather than man are human beings depending on what translation of the Bible that you're looking at Peter now, they set forth. The Council of God's word that I want to remind you in this world in which we live in one lost. Its above man. Saw this God's lol. There's nothing that man can legislate that can make you violate God's principles don't ever think that I'll me and causes if the just because the world says it's legal then God is okay with it know God's word supersede. They can say they can legalize a whole lot of things. You know what? I'm not trying to get crap they going to legalize abortion, but it's still wrong and guys I somebody say Amen to that so it doesn't supersede because the man's law says that it's legal. It's still wrong in the eyes of God. And so that's why we got to obey God. I know everything that I can sleep around with whoever I want to know you can't come.

It's wrong. So I don't care what the law says. It's wrong if it's violating the principles of God's word. And so what they're saying here in this said and said, I know you told me not to preach but God is telling us to go out and speak. And we don't follow God even even come with me and that's why I'm talking about sometimes you got to get that in the heart. Even whatever may come my way. I'm going to follow what God's word tells me to do looking from verse 30 through verse 37 Peter is preaching he's telling them about, you know, the things that they followed and how they are off course pick it up and verse number 38 therefore in the present case. I advise you leave the middle long until one of the Sanhedrin stood up and said, hey man, I hear what these guys saying leave him alone. Let's not keep bothering them. Let them go for if their purpose or activity is of human Origins it will fail but if it fits it is from God. You will not be able to stop these man. You are only fighting yourselves against God. And so when we're standing in the word of the Lord and we're doing what God has called us to do. We don't have to worry about who's fighting on our side who's on our side. You know, this is the Wee Sing the song This is How we fight our battle talk about worship and standing on the word of the Lord when we're doing what God has called us to do opposition. May, God is going to fight for it. First number 40 says his speech be persuaded them. They call the apostles in and they flog them. They mean the Sanhedrin they called and said, okay. Hey, we're going to tell you we're going to let you out of prison, but we going to beat you one more time. You know, I'm telling you they would have beat me. I ain't coming back. I am you know Lord, I'm going to another city. I know you guys are more spiritual that I am cuz most of you guys will I ain't going there no more. I was down there preaching on my corn and that guy will drove up and he hit me and I ain't going to take over there again, but she's so I'm telling you we have to be determined.

We have to be determined to say that whatever may come our way in that and I'm trying to make a light up my heart I would but I'm tellin I think we're in for some unprecedented days. We already when you hear this present time, we are sometimes now that is going to get really intense and we have to know what we believe in who we believe in and we have to come out. It's all right while we're here man. We raise our hands we say hallelujah. We say praise the lord we should glory to God but where you are you willing to do it out there in the public arena in the face of adversity. That's where it matters. And when everybody else is on your job is talking about down about God in the church and you're elevating God in the church, are you willing to stand at that moment to be able to do it here's what we can make fog them in and they sent them away and they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus and let them go verse 4141 says then the apostles left the Sanhedrin Rejoice because they have been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the name of Jesus what's going on. I don't think it's fair that it cuz I'm just want to preach the gospel got to go through all of this but day after day didn't deter them day after day in the temple Court in from house to house they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the messiah. I think those are the days in which we're living and where we have to make a determination that I'm telling you. The gospel message is not hindered because Jesus said this word is going to be active and not one word is not. Or one Tittle shall fall. This word. Let's get ready with finishing today. Not one. I want to the fall and talk about a unhindered gospel is All About Us. Letting the gospel. The good news is on the inside of us float us into a world that needs to be changed and there's nobody else can do it. But you have to make a determination in your heart that more Jesus. I'm going to live for you. I'm going to speak your word. I'm going to keep the cream what you say because I believe what you said will come to past. I believe in the word of God. I believe Jesus that everything that you said you're able to do and I believe Jesus that you hold everything in your hands. Maybe create. But we must walk it out. Jesus comes back that would have challenges all today that we all we continue to walk out this gospel because I know it changes wives all of us is sitting in here isn't it isn't an example and we are a testimony of a power of change and transformation all of us that are here today. We know that he can do something miraculous in our lives. I'll just think about think about these four things. the gospel Text us to overcome the darkness of this world. See what is unhindered the gospel of the good news places the darkness that when you go in the Mitchell, where is dark at you are the change agent. You are the light in the midst of Darkness. Don't go in the midst of darkness and put your light out what I mean by that don't go in the midst of darkness and you act like darkness and you act like the world you are the light of the glory of God number to the gospel continues to touch people that you don't think so that can check and see God has a calling. Every person there's no person that is born without a god having a plan for their lives. What happens is in life when we get off course that the plan of God that he has for a life because Scott just when you were in your mother's womb. I formed you before in this work before you were contaminated or I was contaminated with since when we were still in the in the woman that got a new the plans that I have for you. I know what I called you to do.

I know things that I have laid out for you.

But then we come into this world and then we get contaminated by sin.

What happens is when the gospel comes in it touches Our Lives? And then it released in our lives. The Fox and the plan that God has for us we just got to walk it out

We call that transformation. We call it change. You call that being renewed. You called it to be reformed.

Plans purposes and there's people there they're still have yet to understand. There are identity in Christ in the only way church. I want to tell you that they will find their identity is not through looking at the Oprah Winfrey a listening to the field and I'm not taking away from those guys and what they do and I'm not but I'm telling you the way that people find their identity using alone. In all the way they're going to find their identity. There has to be someone. The has the power to speak over their lives into their lives and say you are created for more. It comes to the power of the Gospel that lift people up number 3. The gospel flows unhindered when we say Lord use me according to your plan that talks his fix-up surrender. In all of our Lives who said Lord, whatever your plan is for my life use me and when I'm using myself to the plan of God. the purpose of God flows through our lives and number four

But the church actively obeying God. based on we'll finish with this this morning and it's not it's not based on. how the world responds the gospel
