1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware. 2 You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

Word of Wisdom: The word of wisdom is a supernatural

revelation by the Spirit of God concerning the divine purpose

in the mind and will of God.

The Word of knowledge:Central Truth: The word of knowledge is the supernatural revelation by the Holy Spirit of certain facts in the mind of God.

Discerning of spirits: The discerning of spirits gives insight into the

spirit world

Gift of Faith: Those who possess the gift of faith believe

God in such a way that He honors their word as His own,

and He miraculously brings it to pass.

Working of Miracles: A miracle is a supernatural intervention in

the ordinary course of nature; a temporary suspension of the

accustomed order through the Spirit of God.

Gifts of Healings: The purpose of the gifts of healings is to

deliver the sick and destroy the works of the devil in the

human body.

Gift of Prophecy: But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification,and exhortation, and comfort.

Tongues: Divers kinds of tongues is supernatural

utterance by the Holy Spirit in languages never learned by

the speaker, not understood by the mind of the speaker, nor

necessarily always understood by the hearer.

Interpretation: The interpretation of tongues is the

supernatural showing forth by the Spirit the meaning of an

utterance in other tongues.
