Is it Possible to be Assured That You’re going to heaven?

The Wrath of God is coming now and will continue coming

Romans 1:18–20 NIV
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Last week we mentioned the man of the pool where Jesus said to a formerly paralyzed man stop sinning or something would happen to him. Today in Rom 1:18 we see that in fact God’s wrath is currently being revealed.
God’s wrath is a blessing. It’s a blessing to receive His wrath now so that we can know to prepare for the next life — eternity. It’s a blessing in that we have time to repent.

What does the Bible say concerning salvation?

So there’s good news for us and bad news for us. First, for our sins, there’s current wrath and there’s wrath to come in Hell. That’s the bad news.
But, but, the good news is that there’s salvation for those that believe. There is:
Romans 1:16 NIV
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
