· 10 viewsIt is difficult for us to sense the love of the Lord while we were facing changes. Because it is usually accompany with frustration, suffering, pain and many challenges. It is easy for us to say we will trust the Lord, but, nevertheless, we hardly to do it. After we look through the story of Jacob, we may be glimpse the will of God when we encountering changes in life.

Get attention of my hearers.
surface the needs—some changes happened in our daily life. Moreover, there are many big life changes happened no matter we agree or disagree.
My family experienced a big change recently. We moved from China to England. obviously, there are many changes: different location, unlike climate, new relationship, diets.
I also noticed that there are many changes occured in England recently. Regard to the BBC news, every college class will delivery on line start from 9th December.
In history, one of the famous Israelites, Jacob’s life experienced this sort of changes. He was called to move from Laban’s place back to Canan, the promised land. Especially he need to brought his whole family and all of his possessions. Meanwhile, ahead his way home, Esau, his older brother was seeking for avenge him because he stolen his oldest son privilege and his father’s blessings. Jacob was frustrated, and even felt desperation under the change.
The story of Jacob wresting with a man tells us, Jacob’s life has been completely transformed by God. And, consequently, his name “Jacob” was changed to Israel.
Questions
Are you sensing those changes happened in your current life? What about your relationship with people? And how about your relationship with God?
Why do we encounter changes in life?
How should we response to these changes?

他夜间起来，带着两个妻子，两个使女，并十一个儿子，都过了雅博渡口，先打发他们过河，又打发所有的都过去，只剩下雅各一人。有一个人来和他摔跤，直到黎明。那人见自己胜不过他，就将他的大腿窝摸了一把，雅各的大腿窝正在摔跤的时候就扭了。那人说：「天黎明了，容我去吧！」雅各说：「你不给我祝福，我就不容你去。」那人说：「你名叫什么？」他说：「我名叫雅各。」那人说：「你的名不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列；因为你与 神与人较力，都得了胜。」雅各问他说：「请将你的名告诉我。」那人说：「何必问我的名？」于是在那里给雅各祝福。雅各便给那地方起名叫毗努伊勒，意思说：「我面对面见了 神，我的性命仍得保全。」日头刚出来的时候，雅各经过毗努伊勒，他的大腿就瘸了。故此，以色列人不吃大腿窝的筋，直到今日，因为那人摸了雅各大腿窝的筋。

But, regarding to the scripture, we learn that, we experience big life changes because God intends to transform us into a faithful spiritual life after these changes. supposed to transfer our life, God...

Watch over us during the changes
夜间， 神到亚兰人拉班那里，在梦中对他说：「你要小心，不可与雅各说好说歹。」
雅各仍旧行路， 神的使者遇见他。雅各看见他们就说：「这是 神的军兵」，于是给那地方起名叫玛哈念。
Bless us when we facing changes
那人说：「天黎明了，容我去吧！」雅各说：「你不给我祝福，我就不容你去。」
Changes not only occur at external of life, but in inner life as well.

meditate the word of God. God may use the scriptures to give you a practical verse; or let you listening a sermon delivery by someone you favoured. or some other ways.
prayers. prayer is necessary at anytime and anywhere. Specially, when we encountering changes, prayer becomes extremely important to us.
