Intro -
I am worn out. My body is exhausted, my mind is numb, emotionally I am exhausted. It has been the hardest week of my life in the last 7 years.
I had to take a break from our series and do the only thing that I know to do for rest, peace, joy, and happiness.
I need to behold the man!
I need to remind myself not what I am to do
Or what my job or expectations are.
I needed to be reminded what He - Jesus has done on my behalf / Your behalf.
I need Good news and so today! I wan to share with you the good news of Jesus.
Now I am in no way going to exhaust the Good news today. The death, burial, resurrection, assension, and return of Christ can never be exahausted even if a preacher were to preach on it every day for the rest fo their lives.
For every way Humanity needs salvation we are called to Behold the man.
So, today, I want to talk about God reconciling Humanity to Himself through Jesus.
Behold the man who reconciles humanity to God as father.

2 Corinthians 5:14–21 NASB95
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus took on Himself our sins so we might take on His Righteousness.

He gave it all up that we might have it all.

---------------------------------------------------------------

How Does This Work? How has God done this through the death and resurrection of Jesus?

Romans 3:10–26 NASB95
as it is written, There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one.” Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving,” The poison of asps is under their lips”; Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness”; Their feet are swift to shed blood, Destruction and misery are in their paths, And the path of peace they have not known.” There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

We Run From God Because of Our Shame.
We run and hide behind excuses, jobs, titles, addictions, wealth,
Whatever we can get our hands on to cover our shame.
Even us who claim Jesus as savior -
We run from the cross when we need it most.
We hide in shame knowing that His Goodness, beauty, holiness will see through our fake masks.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Yet He BECAME OUR PROPITIATION - HE TOOK THE WRATH FOR OUR EVIL.

WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR FAITH IN JESUS GOD DECLARES YOU INNOCENT.
THERE IS NO PAST TO BE ASHAMED OF.
ONLY THE DEEPEST LOVE KNOWN LIVE HUMBLY IN.
-------------------------------------------------------------

STOP RUNNING AND BEHOLD HIM

see him carrying your shame on that cross.
See his sacrificial love for you on that cross.
See Him buried with your shame and sins covering him.
See Him resurrect from the dead, declared innocent from the Father.
And See Him declaring, “RIGHTEOUS, RIGHTEOUS, - YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS.”
--------------------------------------------------------------

BEHOLD THE LAMB THAT TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD.

BEHOLD THE MAN WHO TOOK AWAY YOUR SINS AND SHAME.

----------------------------------------------------------------
SOME OF YOU ARE RUNNING
YOU ARE HIDING BEHIND YOUR PRIDE, YOUR CULTURE, YOUR ARROGANCE.
COVERING YOUR SHAME -
SOME OF YOU ARE HIDING BEHIND GUILT
DEEP INSIDE YOU REFUSE TO BELIEVE GOD LOVES YOU THAT MUCH.
HOW COULD HE - YOU DESPISE YOURSELF.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

WHERE EVER YOU ARE AT TODAY, I HAVE ONE MESSAGE FOR YOU.

Romans 8:31–39 NASB95
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
GOD REALLY DOES LOVE YOU
AND THROUGH JESUS HE HAS MADE A WAY FOR YOU TO BE RESTORED TO HIM.
CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH JESUS IS LORD
BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT HE WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD.
