12:1-3
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
fate and faith and destiny
fate is the will or principle or cause that why things become the way they are.
faith does notalways change reality some things are inevitable.
ex isaiah 53:
this was the reality of jesus before he was even in the earth. at the end of his beginning was calvary. the more he saw what he was destined for on the cross we find him in the garden asking to not go to the cross. AND WHEN HE REALIZES THAT THIS IS WHAT HIS DESTINY IS HE SAYS ”NOT MY WILL BUT THY WILL BE DONE.”
JESUS DOES NOT TEACH US TO RUN FROM THE CROSS. BUT TO ENDURE THE CROSS.
1.FAITH DOES NOT MOVE YOUR CROSS IT HELPS YOU BEAR YOUR CROSS, IT DOES NOT CHANGE REALITY.
