Exodus 3:1-10 Getting unstuck / A Fresh Start / A new vision

Have you ever been stuck? I got my truck stuck 4 times this Spring. I was trying to park my travel trailer behind my house on the yard. I have driven on my grass many times and it was never a problem. But then the circumstances changed. I knew we had a lot of rain, but the sand base looked pretty dry. But underneath the footing was gone. Sure enough I was able get both truck and trailer completely off the pavement when the wheels started to spin. And within moments that truck was going nowhere.
I tried on my own to get out. I pushed – I was still stuck. I dug out the ruts – I was still stuck. I tried putting boards under the tires – I was still stuck.
Other tried to get my unstuck. My neighbor came over to help me push – I was still stuck. A man with a pickup stopped, but he had no way to pull me out. Others good intentions didn’t help.
Finally, another neighbor came by with a four-wheel drive pickup and a tow strap. We attached the strap and out I came. When the right person with the right tools offered help, I got unstuck
Now I subsequently went right onto the grass (another three times) and got restuck every time. It took me a while to learn all there was to learn, but I finally got the trailer out of my backyard and to the side of my house. I finally, achieved a fresh start.
Life is like that too. We get stuck. Sometimes by accident. Sometimes because it is our fault and no better. Sometimes we just misread the circumstances.
And often when we are stuck, we try all types of ways to get unstuck that are doomed for failure. Often only as we exhaust other possibilities do we turn to the one who has the power to pull us out and give us a new start.
Do you need a fresh start this morning?
Perhaps it is s fresh start in life and you need to come to Christ for salvation.
Perhaps it is s fresh start in your Christian walk – putting failures and sin aside and deciding to have a fresh start with Christ

Can I say His plan is bigger than our plans. He is seeking to draw people to Himself. He desires to use you in this plan. He desires to give you a fresh start.
He is seeking you out. But will you recognize Him? Will you respond? Will you engage in His plan?
Let’s look at His encounter with a man in the Old Testament. Here we will see what it looks like to get unstuck / to find a fresh start.
