In Luke 7:36-50, Jesus is invited by a local Pharisee named Simon to his home. Upon Christ's arrival, Jesus is shown no love or affection by the host. Yet, a woman of the city interrupts the meal. She displays her love for Jesus by anointing his feet with ointment, tears, and cleaning with her hair. She loves much because she is forgiven much. As Christian, when we become debt-free by faith in Christ, we love more and live empowered to make a difference for the kingdom.
