Where is your anchor set? Anchors keep you in place and from drifting away, but they can also keep you in place from places you should be going. God has a place for each of us. Jesus's anchor was set in mercy, not sacrifice. The Israelites were still anchored as slaves in Egypt, which kept them from being able to enjoy the promise of the Promised Land.
