Roar of the Lion
Preached at a revival about come out of hiding..
Mostly targeted for the lost, but at some point God asked about the ones who were already saved...
The message was the same.. Come out come out wherever you are..
The world only got to be this way because believers ran into a hiding place and put their trust in politics instead of God.
We have been asleep for too long and God says wake up, come out of your cave of hiding and release a roar
LION (אַרַיֵה, arayeh; λέων, leōn). The most powerful of all carnivores of ancient Palestine.
And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Jesus is both the Lamb and the Lion
We put on the nature of Christ.
That means we must mean be both a lamb and a lion
We look like lambs but must roar like a lion.
As we put on the nature of Christ, we are saying yes to the gentleness and obedience as a Lamb, but at the same time, we are saying yes to becoming a savage warrior as a lion.
STAND YOUR GROUND
Lions are known as the kings of the Jungle and have a loud roar heard for miles away.
Lions mostly roar after the sun goes down or a kill, or to defend its territory.
Lions aren’t pansies nor do they back down from their enemy.
Lions have sharp claws and they aren’t afraid to use them.
My parents taught me to stand up for myself and my beliefs
If someone swung at me, i had permission to knock someone out...
God is telling His body, stop taking unnecessary blows.
FIGHT BACK
Yes He has won the war, but we must fight
Sound dictates your surrounding
Release the Sound
Tell your neighbor, Release the Sound!
Some of you have made up your mind that you are not going to shout or dance before the Lord and that’s fine.
But for the rest of us let me remind you what Psalms 150:6 says:
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
I need you to understand the power behind your praise, the power behind your shout, the power behind your dance.
Psalm 116:11
You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand, there are pleasures forever.
God didn’t tell Joshua that he wouldn’t feel afraid, He said, don’t BE afraid
Just because you feel depressed, doesn’t mean you have to BE depressed
Just because you have fear, doesn’t mean fear has to have you!
What I am trying to get to is that God is going to begin to release some strategic strategies in some of your lives.
When it comes your way, you may feel afraid, but don’t be afraid.
Because I want you to know that your roar can take a city.

Joshua 6:20
20 The priests blew the trumpets. As soon as the fighting men heard the sound, they gave a loud shout. Then the wall fell down. Every man charged straight in. So, they took the city.
The sound we release, is a declaration of victory!
How many of you know that Jesus has already won the victory?
Our healing is ours, but we need to declare the sound of His Word!
We can have joy, but we need to declare the sound of His goodness.
We are walking in defeat, but Jesus has already won the victory!
Faith over Fear
Our words will indicate the type of life you want.
If you are tired of poverty, speak the promises of God into that situation
If you are tired of being sick, speak the promises of healing into your life.
Your words will shape your world..
ROAR FOR DOMINION
Dominion is sovereignty or control
A lion marks his territory with his roar (He won the victory)
Whatever circumstance, whatever season you are in, steal some praise from your future, praise God at this moment, because the Lion of the Tribe of Judah HAS ALREADY won the war...
Lion of praise
Can be heard around 5 miles away
How ever far the roar is heard that is your territory
If the enemy hears it’s roar, they won’t go near..
The lion has roared;
who will not fear?
The Lord God has spoken;
who can but prophesy?”
As long as you praise, the enemy can’t penetrate because of your roar..
The enemy wants to steal your roar...
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
If you can roar, everyone of your enemies must flee your territory
your praise marks your territory
Now the Philistines gathered their armies for battle. And they were gathered at Socoh, which belongs to Judah, and encamped between Socoh and Azekah, in Ephes-dammim.
The enemy wants to occupy your praise
If he can steal your judah, he will steal your health and your wealth
Whatever is occupying your judah, i dare you to open up your mouth and tell the devil to get off your judah
Wounded lions still roar
Tired lions still roar
Hungry lions still roar
You don’t have to be happy, perfect, all together, to praise...
Can we make this last month the best month… Open up your mouth and give God praise
Are there any lions in the house today
Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Your authentic roar triumphs the devil’s artificial roar....
The enemy is NOT a lion… he is only trying to deceive
We live in a world full of hyenas, foxes, serpents, and wolves… we all know that wolves are disguised in sheeps clothing...
Be cautious as we are living in the end times… people who you thought was for you might turn...
We fight not against flesh and blood…
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
We need righteous lions to rise up in the name of Jesus
ROAR TO INTIMIDATE THE ENEMY
the lion, which is mightiest among beasts
and does not turn back before any;
We will not back down nor coward down.
Overcomers...
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Do I have any witnesses in the house this morning that can testify about the goodness of the Lord?
Scarred up lions
Do hyenas take advantage of the scarred up lions??
It’s in fact the opposite.
When they go for attack, they avoid the lions with scars
If the lions have a scar, it means he knows how to fight and knows how to survive.
a scar is not a wound, a wound is still open
when the wound is healed it leaves a scar.
the hyenas will give up territory because they are afraid of the God on the inside of you.
I dare you to release a roar, stand bold, and take what’s yours
Hyenas love to prey on lions who are alone and isolated from it’s tribe
Not a hyena that will come near a group of lions
This is why church is so important..
ROAR FOR YOUR CHILDREN
A lion’s roar provokes his children to come back
They shall go after the Lord;
he will roar like a lion;
when he roars,
his children shall come trembling from the west;
This empowers us to bring our children back
Your praise will bring your children into the kingdom of God
It doesn’t matter how far away they are, they are about to come back home..
Put a smile on your face because your children will not inherit your sins, but they will inherit your blessings.
ROAR BECAUSE THE ENEMY IS DEFEATED
Lions like to stand on their tip toes.... intimidating it’s prey...
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
