Have you ever been in a crowded elevator, or room. Been at Walmart when it is getting close to Christmas? It gets so bad you are afraid to move for fear of bumping into someone. People everywhere and not much room to move.
There were a lot of people at the cross where Jesus was in agony.
35-36 There were the guards who crucified him, parted his garments, casting lots (Gambled for the robe he wore) Then verse 36 says, "And sitting down they watched him there…"38, 44 - There were two thieves one on the right one on the left. They mocked him with their words. 39-40 Those who passed by - they reviled him, wagged their heads and mocked him. 41-43 - The chief priests mocked him47-49 Some of them that stood there/ The rest - heard Jesus cry out and gave Jesus a drink of vinegar. 54- The Centurion and they that were with him55 -56 Many women Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children. And Mary his mother.
All of these people - it probably seemed very crowded. but can I say there was still room. Now not everyone at the cross was there to find a Savior. Some were there to scorn, some just to watch. But there were some who were there because this man was their way to heaven.

You may be here and feel that you have really messed up, maybe you have made a bad mistake this week, maybe it's something in your past you just can't get rid of. I want you to know this morning - there is still room at the cross for you.
It's not too crowded for one more.

Isaiah 55:1-3 (KJV)
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Revelation 22:17 (KJV)
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
