2020 has been and will continue till the next month be a year like no other.
We have been shadowed by the deadly pandemic of the Corona Virus.
Highly Contagious 2. No vaccine 3. People not willing to wear masks 4. Deadly to the most vulnerable, the aged-diabetic-respiratory conditions, Those in nursing homes. 5. Children could not go to school and the parents were on the verge of mental breakdown to get their kids out of the house. 6. Jobs closed down 7. And the ones that were opened became breeding grounds for infection. 8. It became a political issue 9. The government gave a relief package to businesses and the top half of the business took most of the funds and left the most needy in the background. 10. People lost Mothers, Fathers, Wives, Husbands, Sons, Daughters and Friends to this Virus. Over 11 million cases and a quarter of a million deaths in the US.
We are being told not to travel to see grandmother and relatives.
Not to gather more than 10 in a house or just stay home alone and be safe.
The turkeys were grown smaller this year because of this.
But the Psalmist calls to us to Give Thanks Unto The Lord; For His Mercy Endureth For Ever!
Well some can say: I did not contract COVID 19, I did not lose my job, I did not lose any family member to the Virus and all is well and every thing is better than ever. So I praise the Lord for He is good.......
But there are many who contracted the Virus, lost family members, lost their job and is still having negative post COVID issues.. But yet the Psalmist says Oh Give thanks unto the Lord for His mercy endureth forever!!!!
Job said though He slays me, yet will I trust Him. in the Hebrew “Kay -tal” It reads though he puts me to death, yet will I trust Him.
It’s easy to praise when you have been spared from the negative of the storm, your house was not burned in the wildfire, the hurricane went around your city, no one in your family contracted the virus and your job did not lay off but rather gave over time.
But can you praise God for the one who lost it all, lost the job, lost the husband, the wife or the child. The hurricane wipe them out, the fire burnt every thing to dust.....still have someone in the hospital, while they have no where to live....They are standing in the unemployment line, the food stamp line, the food give away line, the free clothing line and most importantly ....the prayer line.
They can still say God is good behind their tears and fears of tomorrow.
You should salute the believer who has suffered the lost and felt the hurt and the infirmity and they can still give God a glorious SHABACH praise.......
Why Do We Praise For This 2020?
Psalms 105.....106....1017....118.....136.........O give thanks unto the Lord; for his is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.....
What ever happens to me, God will work it for me
However if God allows me to be hurt; He will heal me
God’s wisdom hurts sometimes but it in the end will help me....
Praise him because he is on your side.........

Rev 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Jesus speaks to the church of Smyrna on the Isle of Patmos:
Rev 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Jesus can give you the proof that if you stand through the hurt, the pain, the cross of suffering, God will not abandon you.
He will exalt you in due time....
Php 2:5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Php 2:9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
JESUS....................................................
