So What?

What if I told you that just like a flight attendant we are called to be stewards of the body of Christ, actively engaged in the growth, sustainability and the future of the the Church Universal by being active at the local level. Yes dear friends, it’s in the word of God that we are not only called but GIFTED to attend.

“Giftedness”

Ladies and gentlemen, when we talk about giftedness we are referring to the gifts granted by God through His spirit. Often times we can get beside ourselves due to our giftedness… But please know friends, that with out the empowerment of God, we are nothing with our gifted selves. There are several gifted people in jail, in psych wards, and strung out on drugs… I SAID GIFTED… Because the scripture teaches that the gifts of God are with out repentance, there are GIFTED PEOPLE in unfortunate situations due to reasons often times only known by them and God.
The Lexham Survey of Theology describes gifts as abilities given to individual believers by the Holy Spirit in order to equip God’s people for ministry for the edification of the Church and for God’s salvific mission to the world.
This means that the people of God have the responsibility to build up the people of God.
Let’s look at Ephesians 4:1-6
A Call to action.. to walk… In other words act like you are called.
