Trust in the LORD

Trust means to listen to God (1-14, 1-3)

The wicked look for someone to agree with them (2 Timothy 4:3-4) vs 10

When we do not listen to the word of God we are despising him and bring destruction upon ourselves vs 12

Trust means to wait on God (15)

The wicked look to worldly strength and weaponry

The righteous know that God is our victory

God had trained Israel to trust in his power when conquering Canaan

Patience and Prayer is how we wait on God

Trust means responding to God’s mercy (18-26)

God is merciful to sinners and shows love before we trust in Him (Romans 5:8)

Our trust is a response to his goodness not vice-versa
