Jesus fulfilled everything that was written about him.

To truly know and understand who God is and what he has done for us we must know his word. For he has reveled himself through scripture. While reading the other day verse 45 really stuck out to me, two years ago pastor challenged us to read the whole bible in a reading plan, having never being able to do so, i took on the challenge and was able to complete it within the years time, and i was so grateful for it, it had giving me a better understanding of what the bible is as a whole, this year as some of you may know i am challenging myself again, but this time i am reading it all in chronological order instead of the canonical way our bibles are, which is reading it in time line thee events took place. which is awesome because i am starting to understand the scriptures even more than my first read through. there is still so much of scripture i don’t completely understand and that is why ive been praying this scripture, to open my mind to understand, as he did with the disciples, but why do i do this? because i long to know God and his word. Reading scripture must begin with dedication of your mind and heart to God and with a willingness to listen to God as he speaks to you through scripture. psalms 119:18 says “ open my eyes, that i my behold wondrous things out of your law

verse 46-48

Jesus sums up the gospel is these scriptures and that repentance and forgiveness of sins to be proclaimed to all nations in his name. we have become the witnesses of these things through the testimony of the scriptures. Scripture has been given by God to lead people to faith and salvation.
2 Timothy 4:1–5 CSB
1 I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and because of his appearing and his kingdom: 2 Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching. 3 For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear. 4 They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths. 5 But as for you, exercise self-control in everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
we have been called to preach the word, not any word but thee word of God, to always be ready, to correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching, to do so with love and remember who we are representing. verse 3-4 so many people these days are like this, they dont tolerate the truth of Gods word, for us not be turned away to another gospel we must know Gods word for ourselves. practice
Ps 1:2-3
delight in Gods word, meditate on it, when we do this we will be like, a tree planted by God that will not wither, we can stand firm in the foundation of God and begin to teach the truth to reach the lost.

John 14 : 23-26
