1. Abiding in Christ. Joh 15:4, 5.4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Helper. Ps 33:20; Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
Heb 13: 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
h. Keeper. Ps 121:4, 5. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
All things working together for their good.
Ro 8:28; 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
2 Co 4:15–17.. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
