Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
The ongoing ministry of the church leads the children of God into the administration of sanctification and glorification under the watchfulness of the pastor.
Sanctification and Glorification
2 Corinthians 3:1-18

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
The ministry of the old covenant brings condemnation because of sin.
The ministry of the new covenant is one of life.
Freedom from sin and condemnation through Christ by the Holy Spirit.
The glory of the old was fading.
Fading because it depended upon man - the flesh
The glory of the new covenant in Christ doesn’t fade but is ever increasing.
The Holy Spirit within us, when yielded to, leads us from glory to glory, conforming us into the image of Christ.
We are equipped to administer Christ to others: His grace, love, and righteousness.
Administer defined:
