Healing is God’s Will Because His Word is Medicine

1. Scripture repeatedly promises physical healing by and through the partaking of the word of God.

Proverbs 4:20-22

20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

(a) Note the phrase: “they are health to all their flesh.”

Amplified Version reads Proverbs 4:20-22 as follows:

20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.

(a) Note the phrase: “healing and health to all their flesh.”
