This letter of Paul has fifty eight verses.

According to Matthew Henry this chapter is divided into six parts.

1 Verses 1-11. Proves the resurrection of the Lord.

2 Verses 12-19 Answered those who deny the resurrection of the body.

3 Verses 20 -34. Resurrection of the believers to eternal life.

4 Verses 35-50. Objections against it answered.

5 Verses 51-54. Mystery of change in the body of those who will be alive at the Lord’s coming for the believers.

6 Verses 55-58. Believers triumph over death and grave. Exhortation to diligence.
