Intro. - I’m not sure how to start this morning. The strength, power, and magnificance of this passage is almost overwhelming. Trying to let the scripture speak for itself, we will examine this passage and hopefully feel the joy it brings. A WOW moment.

Christ In Creation vs15-127

Image of the invisible God - God’s glory has been manifested through Christ.

The firstborn over all creation - Christ is “heir of all things” - Hebrews 1:2

All things were created by Him and for Him

In Him all things are held together

Christ And The Church v18

He is the head of the body, the Church - total dependence on Christ

Christ and His resurrection

God In Christ With Us v19

All of God’s divine fullness dwelt in Christ

Allows for only one mediator between heaven and earth

God In Christ For Us v20

Reconciliation is God’s work

Reconciliation has been accomplished - human acceptance no human achievement

Reconciliation achieved at the cross - Christ’s sacrificial death

Reconciliation covers all things

Concl. - Christ is Supreme!!
