Moving on from Sin
-We have one week left in our series on Proverbs and the overwhelming narrative of this book has been about choosing a life oriented around God’s wisdom over one in pursuit of the foolishness of sin.
-The beautiful thing about Proverbs is that it’s beckons us away from a life of foolishness by constantly reminding us there is something better.
-Leaving a life of sin isn’t simple or easy but it’s worth it.
-I want to give a quick two step process for how we can tangible move on from a life of sin.
Let Go of your Past
Let Go of your Past
-You have to stop defining your life with the things you used to do or are trying to stop.
-Once you have given your life to God, the first battle field is your mind.
-As long as you continue to think romantically about things you know only break your heart, you will always struggle with them.
-The process of winning the battle in your mind starts with taking an honest inventory of what you want to change.
-Once you have taken inventory,
