We have talked about several times how there was a time, when everyone in town went to church. It was simply what you did on Sunday morning. If you were not at church someone would ask you about it on Monday morning. Something has changed. Just ten or so years ago this church was full of families. Full of children. You were not the largest church around but you were sustainable. I have heard many reasons as to why churches decline. As a former auditor and quality technician I find tracking down the histories and and analyzing why things have happened. I like reconstructing the story. The danger here is figuring out whose fault it is that and possible what someone else needs to do to fix the problem.

Now it may be sad to see the impact a pandemic will have on several churches. Our church is doing OK in the moment, but with the end of the pandemic in sight we will be left a decision on where to go.
