Romans 12:2
Romans 12:2 NASB95
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Refuse to Be Like the World

In light of God’s mercies; In light of all that God has done to save you; “Don’t let the world … squeeze you into its mold.” - Anglican clergyman J. B. Phillips translator of The New Testament in Modern English.

Renew Your Mind Constantly and Consistently

Follow these five steps then repeat.
Break bad relationships / Avoid bad relationships
Strengthen Godly relationships / Hang out with God’s people.
Flood your mind with the word of God.
Trust and obey God’s word.
Take advantage of the church which God has built in His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit dwells within and works through the ministry of the church in the administration of God’s love, mercy, grace, and truth.
In the church you have a pastor to watch and guard over your soul, to administer God’s word to you through constant teaching and preaching, and to hold you accountable.
In the church you have fellowship and unity with brothers and sisters in Christ who love you; who are there to exhort you, help you, comfort you, intercede for you, and to hold you accountable.

Take Your Faith from Theory to Practice

By renewing your mind you will be able to prove what the will of God is.
Your life will demonstrate the will of God.
You will discern what is good and acceptable unto God.
Practice will make you perfect.
Hebrews 5:14
Hebrews 5:14 NASB95
But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
Practicing your faith will make you strong and mature in the Lord.
As you grow in your faith, your life will take on the image of Christ.
This means your behaviour will demonstrate God’s righteousness.
Like Christ, your life will be the Word in flesh.

Enjoy the Benefits of Living Your Life Pleasing to God.

You will possess God’s blessed assurance
You will know peace from a clear conscience
Your testimony will be free from reproach
You will be emboldened to witness
You will walk worthy of your calling
May God say of us, in Christ, as He testified of Job -
“Have you considered My servant ________? For there is no one like him or her on the earth, a blameless and upright person, fearing God and turning away from evil.” (Job 1:8)
