Decent and In Order

Everything that we do in (our) church (services) should be done to edify (or build up) the (entire) church.

The Corinthian church was very zealous but they were also very immature in the things of God.

*God wants us to be childlike in our faith but we should use wisdom like adults.

I. When we all come together, everyone has a gift

a. a psalm

b. a doctrine

c. a tongue

d. a revelation

e. an interpretation

II. When we all come together, there may be some present that are unlearned or unbelievers

a. they won’t understand

b. they may think we’re crazy

III When things are not done appropriately and orderly, there is confusion

a. God is not the author of confusion

b. God is the author of peace
