Intro: If you want to make this change, you have to understand the nature of change, the pattern and the process of it.
Background:
Galatian is a region located in Central Asia Minor (now modern Turkey).
In Acts 13:13, 14:28, in Paul’s 1st missionary journey preach the Gospel in Galatia and build the church there and strengthen the disciples.
Places in Galatia where Paul traveled and preached the Gospel:
Derbe, Lystra, Iconium, and (Pisidian) Antioch.
Acts 16:6, Paul traveled with Silas to revisit the church in Galatia.
Acts: 18:22-23, Paul’ 3rd missionary journey, he visit again Galatia to strengthen
the disciples.
Gal. 1:6 Paul astonished and almost inconceivable turn of events—the Galatian believers were in the process of turning away (deserting, metatithesthe, as in a military desertion) from the truth. Part of the apostle’s amazement was because it was happening so quickly after his last visit to them, or so soon after the false teachers began their insidious work. The departure was not simply from a system of theology but from God Himself, the One who had called them by the grace of Christ (the dominant theme of the epistle). In exchange they were embracing a different gospel, one that was false.
