“RESCUE”

From old life to a renewed life

2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
MY JOURNEY
NOT NEW BUT RENEWED
AND REMINDED

The blessing of a thousand generations

Exodus 20:5–6 HCSB
You must not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the fathers’ sin, to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing faithful love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commands.
LIKE ABRAHAM, WE CAN BLESS A THOUSAND GENERATIONS
NOT JUST RESCUED FROM SOMETHING BUT RECRUITED INTO SOMETHING
“RECRUIT”
FROM VICTIM TO VICTOR
Ephesians 2:10 NLT
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
A STORY TO SHARE
I've been looking forward to this day, because I have wanted to use the occasion to thank you and honor you for everything you've done for me.
You were on of those spectacular leaders back in the days when you were my Youth Pastor in Mariager.
I remember you taking good care of me and my brother, praying for us. Just encouraging us in our life with God. You did it so faithfully!
I especially remember the mornings at Bible College where we would gather and pray before all of us teens had to go to school. That's setting such a good example to follow.
I can still remember how you worship, always giving God everything you have, so inspiring.
I just wanted to appreciate you and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been blessed by your leadership, by your love for God and for people.
Have a blessed new year with your family! I'm thankful.
2 Corinthians 5:19–20 NLT
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
Matthew 28:19–20 NLT
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
AS YOU GO, MAKE DISCIPLES!!!
We are no longer victims but victors
We are not just rescued but recruited
Into to His Kingdom (family)
And to reveal/bring/build His Kingdom
