49 While he was still speaking, someone came from the synagogue leader’s house and said, “Your daughter is dead. Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”
50 When Jesus heard it, he answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be saved.”
51 After he came to the house, he let no one enter with him except Peter, John, James, and the child’s father and mother.
52 Everyone was crying and mourning for her. But he said, “Stop crying, because she is not dead but asleep.”
53 They laughed at him, because they knew she was dead.
54 So he took her by the hand and called out, “Child, get up!”
55 Her spirit returned, and she got up at once. Then he gave orders that she be given something to eat.
56 Her parents were astounded, but he instructed them to tell no one what had happened.

You must keep the faith in the midst of bad news
Even when things don’t look like He says, keep the faith
He is still able to do what He said He would do
Don’t fear. Only believe.
Don’t let fear come in the picture
Keep believing and you will see the miracle
All things are possible for those who believe

When we are too emotional, we don’t see with faith
Our tears can get in the way of seeing what God is showing us

Keep believing even in the midst of heartache
King David had to encourage himself to bless the Lord

Jesus went from a faith filled environment to a faithless house
Those present did not know that Jesus had power of life and death
The woman with an issue of blood was capable of faith
The dead girl was incapable of faith
She was surrounded by unbelievers, skeptics, and cynics who laughed at Jesus
Jesus still has power over life and death even when the haters don’t believe it
Jesus still has power even when no one believes in His power
Jesus has the touch

He still has power to bring dead things to life
He can bring a dead marriage to life
He can bring a dead body to life
He can bring a dead church to life
He can bring a dead country to life
He can bring dead creativity to life
He is the author and perfecter of our faith
He is the giver of life
He is the Great I AM
He is the One we must run to in the midst of turmoil
He will bring your dead finances to life
He will bring life to the lifeless
