God's Financial Plan
Slide #1
GOD’S FINANCIAL PLAN
Thank you for this opportunity to speak to you on such an important and at times controversial subject.
I’ve discovered through the years that as soon as a persons begins to talk about money in Church, many people jump to the conclusion that the church wants their money for its use.
Let me assure you from the beginning that we don’t want anything from you.
Instead we want something for you.
That is what this whole series is about.
We want to see you become spiritually mature in every area of your life.
And that is why we are here.
To try and discover God’s plan for our finances.
To understand God’s principles for our managing His money.
Slide#2
In the Christian circles we call this Stewardship.
What is stewardship?
Stewardship is simply managing another’s property.
Slide#3
And the First thing we must understand about stewardship is that God owns it all.
1 Chronicles 29:11-12 says “Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the Ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might, and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength.”
God has given you all that you have and all that you are.
Everything about you and all that you will ever be are His gifts to you.
His desire is that you will give back to Him all that you are and all that you produce.
Not just 10% of your life but all of your life.
Slide #4
Stewardship involves far more than just your money and material goods.
Among the resources God has given you are your talents, abilities, skills, experiences, energy, time, strength, spiritual gifts, creative ideas, and much more.
All these can be placed into three primary area’s of our lives that we are responsible to be stewards over or to manage.
Slide #5
The first one is:
Time – We are each given a certain amount of time on earth to serve and worship.
Each one of us is limited to the amount of time we have,
Slide #6
Some are given only a few years while others may be given 100+ years.
And we will each be held accountable for the way we spend our time.
((Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.”)
Slide #7
Another area we are to manage is our:
Talents – God has given each one of us different talents.
Different skills, Gifts, or abilities.
Slide #8
And each one of us has been given these talents or skills to be used to serve and worship God, during our lives.
We may use these skills and talents to earn a living and enjoy life but ultimately they were given to us to serve one another and to Worship God.
((“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord, rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve” Colossians 3:23-24)
Slide #9
And the third area of our lives we will be held accountable for is our:
Treasures – God has given each one of us a certain amount of treasure.
Slide #10
Luke 12:34 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”
Notice that your heart follows your treasure. Your treasures do not follow your heart.
That is why it is so important for us to periodically check the location of our treasures, because if the majority of my treasure starts to go into my house, or my business, or my hobby then my heart is sure to follow.
But if my treasure goes into the Kingdom of God my heart will remain in the Kingdom of God.
So that’s what stewardship is, it is the managing of all the different areas of our lives that God has entrusted us with.
But today we are going to focus on the Stewardship of our Treasure’s.
So the first thing we must understand about stewardship is that God owns it all.
Slide #11
A second thing you need to know about stewardship is that it involves all of the principles needed for managing these three areas.
In the case of our treasures, it includes the principles for earning, giving and saving.
A good steward manages the resources of the master with care and concern.
Making sure you are following the masters rules and continue the masters plan.
So every person is a financial manager for Jesus Christ.
And how you view God’s money is very important.
What we do with God’s money will – and I choose these words deliberately – influence the very course of eternity.
And the good news is, just like every area of our lives in this series so far, the Bible gives us direction.
God has the “ideal” plan for what you are to do with His money.
And that is what we need to discover and that is why we teach about stewardship.
It is necessary and it is scriptural to talk about money in church.
It is good for you and it is good for the kingdom as a whole, to know God’s blueprint for how to be a good steward.
As we are learning from Pastor Jerry’s current series, the Bible teaches us how to live better lives.
How to be a better Husband, a better wife, better children, how to have a happy home and a stronger marriage.
And the Bible has a lot to say on other important aspects of our lives.
Slide #12
For example the Bible has much to say about prayer and faith, there are about 500 verses in scripture on prayer and faith.
Slide #13
The Bible has a lot to say about heaven and hell over 450 verses on these important topics.
Slide #14
But the Bible, God’s Word, our manual for life has more than 2,350 verses on how to handle money and possessions.
How could the Bible’s Author justify devoting more verses to money than to faith and prayer and Heaven and Hell combined?
Considering everything else He could have told us, why did the Savior of the world say more about how we are to view and handle money than about any other single thing?
Jesus Christ said more about money than about any other single thing because, when it comes to a man’s real nature, money is of first importance.
All through Scripture there is an intimate correlation between the development of a man’s character and how he handles his money and possessions.
So why did Jesus have so much to say about money and possessions?
Well let’s look at three possible reasons:
Slide #15
The first reason:
1. How we handle our money impacts our fellowship with the Lord.
Jesus equates how we handle our money with the quality of our spiritual life.
In Luke 16:11 we read “If therefore you are not faithful in the use of worldly wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?”
If we handle our money properly according to the principles of Scripture, our fellowship with Christ is going to grow closer, and we are going to be blessed more.
If we are unfaithful with handling God’s money, our fellowship with Him will suffer and we will not be blessed.
Look at this Verse, If you are not Faithful in the use of Worldly Wealth. Time, Talents, and Treasures.
Who will entrust the True Riches to you.
You want a raise? What have you done with the salary He’s given you.
You wish you could be a better speaker, or singer, or teacher? What have you done with the voice and the mind God has given you.
You want to be healthy and live to be 90 years old? What have you done with the thirty years or so He has given to you so far.
Look if you are not being faithful with what He has given to you so far why would he trust you with more.
Slide #16
This is clearly illustrated in the parable of the talents found in Matthew 25:21.
“His master (Jesus) said to him, ‘Well done, Jesus is commending the slave (Christian) He is praising him and Honoring him, for the good and faithful job he has done. He says, You were faithful with a few things that I entrusted you with, so now I will put you in charge of many things; Now you can be trusted with more and now you can be promoted.
And as if that wasn’t enough look what else Jesus says, enter into the joy of your master, I don’t know about you but this joy seems to be a sovereign joy, different than the normal joy of the redeemed but the joy of the redeemer, which Jesus himself is in possession of .” (Matthew 25:21).
Scripture is very clear; that those who faithfully handle money have the opportunity to enter into the joy of a more intimate relationship with our Lord.
Throughout Scripture money is used as an outward indicator of an inner condition.
Much the same way a mother would use a thermometer to gauge the inner condition of a child.
Slide #17
For example, Jesus gauged Zacchaeus’s (zuh-keeʹuhs) true spiritual condition by his willingness to part with his money. “ But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham” (Luke 19:7-10)
Zacchaeus refused to allow money to interfere in his following Christ.
Slide #18
Jesus also gauged the rich young ruler’s true spiritual condition by his unwillingness to part with his money. “When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth. Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:22-25)
The rich young ruler allowed his riches to be a hindrance to following Christ.
Sadly, this is a fundamental biblical truth which most people have failed to grasp.
How we handle money impacts our relationship with the Lord.
Slide #19
The second reason why Jesus spoke so much about money and possessions, is that,
2. Possessions compete with the Lord for mastery of our lives.
Jesus tells us we must choose to serve only one of these two masters.
Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Money.”
It is impossible for us to serve money – even in a small way – and still serve the Lord.
A little yeast will effect the entire batch.
Jesus knew that none of us can enthrone the true God, none of us can truly make Jesus the leader of our lives, unless in the process we dethrone all other gods.
If Christ is not Lord over our money and possessions, then he is not and cannot be Lord over our lives.
Slide #20
When the Crusades were being fought during the 12th century, the Crusaders purchased the services of mercenaries to fight on their behalf.
But because the crusade was a “religious” war, the Crusaders insisted that the mercenaries be baptized before fighting.
As they were being baptized, the mercenaries would take their swords and hold them out of the water to symbolize that Jesus Christ was not in control of their swords.
They wanted the freedom to use their weapons in any way they wished during the battle.
Though not as blatant about it as the mercenaries, many people today handle their money in a similar fashion. Some Christians hold their wallets or purses “out of the water,” while being baptized, in effect saying, “God, You can be the Lord of my entire life except in the area of money.
Many of us are serving money and don’t even know it, today it is called materialism.
What is this materialism?
Slide #21
I like this definition:
“A preoccupation with or stress over material rather than intellectual or spiritual things.”
A preoccupation with material things over spiritual things.
Do we fall within this definition?
This is supported by the way we live our lives, where we spend our time, and how we spend our money.
How much time do we spend earning money compared to Bible study, Serving, and Worshiping God?
How much of our talents do we use for the Kingdom of God compared to working or hobbies?
How much of our treasures do we spend on ourselves compared to Gods purpose?
For the average Christian it is 98% to self and 2% to God.
Slide #22
Jesus Christ sounded a sober warning against materialism in any form and in any age:
“Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15).
God created us to love people and use things, but today we love things and use people.
Slide #23
We must understand that materialism is not simply wrong. It is foolish.
As Jesus say’s, “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26).
And as a society, we are reaping exactly what we have sown.
Materialism results from a failure to realize that we were made for only one person (Jesus) and one place (heaven).
Those of us who know Christ will one day be with him in heaven.
Until then, we must understand, nothing else can satisfy us.
Materialism is a lie that Satan whispers in our ears: “If you only had that thing or if you could only earn a little more, you’d finally be happy.”
As long as we live by the lie, regardless of what we say we believe, we will be practicing materialists.
Slide #24
And a third reason Jesus had so much to say about money is because, He knew that...
3. Much of life revolves around the use of money.
Did you know that the average American spends more than 80% of their waking day, earning money in their job, making decisions on how to spend money and thinking about where to save and invest money? 80%!
Slide #25
2 Corinthians 5:9-10
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,
that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body,
whether good or bad”.
First of all We All Must Appear and this Greek word for appear is (fan·er·o·o) and means more than just “show up.” It carries the idea of being revealed for who we are and why we did what we did.
We are all going to be “Revealed” for what we did in this life.
Brothers and Sisters, let me tell you kind of scares me little.
Here’s how I picture this scenario.
I’m standing in front of Christ and he has a remote control, and he presses play and a big screen like you used to see at the drive in theater drops down and starts to play my entire life video, showing everything I ever did good or bad.
Now that is scary enough isn’t it, but that isn’t the scariest part.
In this video you will be able to see why I did the things I did.
But even though this verse scares me a little, it is also exciting, because you are going to see my life for the first 36 years wallowing in sin.
But then at some point in my life movie you will see me lift my arms to heaven and cry out to Jesus, and He will come down and lift me from that filth and wash me clean as snow and my movie will get better and better and better.
And my investments will begin to grow in Heaven and Jesus is going to look at me and say Well Done Good and Faithful Steward, Well Done.
It’s not too late to edit your video.
It’s not too late to change your life movie.
And even though we exist in a materialistic society we can still be found faithful, because God has adequately prepared us by giving us the Bible as His blueprint for living.
As we said earlier money and possessions fill the pages of Scripture.
And in this financial blueprint are many warnings of past mistakes, given to us so we don’t repeat them.
Achan’s (aa khahn) lust and greed for money and possessions brought death to himself, his family, and dozens of men in battle (Joshua 7).
The prophet Balaam cursed God’s people in return for a payment from Balak (Numbers 22:4-35).
Delilah betrayed Samson to the Philistines for a fee (Judges 16).
Solomon’s lust for more and more wealth led him to disobey God by accumulating large quantities of horses, gold, silver, and wives (Deuteronomy 17:16-17).
Slide #26
In the ultimate act of treachery, Judas asked the chief priests, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” Judas then betrayed the Son of God for thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:14-16).
Right after the Church was born, Ananias and Sapphira withheld money they said was given to the Lord and were struck dead for it (Acts 5:1-11).
This is a sober warning for the Church!
A man cannot rob God and get away with it.
Slide #27
Lets look at Malachi 3:8-10 “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. “You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me…”
I pray that our families are not cursed with a curse for robbing God of what is rightfully His.
Listen, every time you place your tithes and offerings in the plate you are Worshiping God.
You are giving Him a portion of what He has blessed you with this week.
I know some of you are saying I haven’t been blessed this week, but did you wake up this morning?
Not even considering what He did on the Cross for you, we have so many things to be thankful for.
That is why we are to be Joyful givers.
Slide #28
“Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
The Greek word for cheerful is “hilaros / hil·ar·os”.
We get our English word hilarious from it.
We are to be Hilarious givers.
We should be excited about entering this sanctuary so we can worship God with our singing, and our fellowship, and our studies, and our giving, for what He has done for us.
We don’t give to this Church we give to God, through this church.
And we owe Him so much more than 10%, we owe Him 100%.
We are to search our hearts and determine what we are to give.
Giving isn’t about Old Covenant verses New Covenant. It never has been.
Giving isn’t even about money.
It’s about our heart.
The story of the “Widows Mite” will support that.
Slide #29
Mark 12:41-43 “Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others”.
If anyone had an excuse not to give it was her.
1. The Temple of that day was run by dishonest men, they were just going to waste it anyway.
2. She was poor.
3. She was a widow.
4. And what good is a penny going to do. This Temple is made of Gold and silver and bronze.
But she gave anyway.
She gave to God.
The discussion of money tends to get us worked up at times.
And that is why it’s a difficult issue to bring up to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
The approach for helping Christians in financial stress is similar to the approach for reaching the lost who don’t know they are lost.
When we talk to others about the need for salvation we need to first ensure they realize that they are a sinner.
People must understand that they are sinners in need of a Savior, Right?
But like the lost, who don’t realize they are spiritually sick, statistically 80% of Christian family’s don’t realize they are financially sick and need a cure.
We all need Biblical financial wisdom no matter what condition we are in.
But most are really sick. Six out of every ten families are one paycheck away from bankruptcy!
And nobody is talking about it.
Consider that 88% of the population has more debts than assets.
They owe more money than they are worth.
Consider that in the next 10 years, 98% of the people in America that reach age 65 will not have enough money to live on without government support.
That means only 2% will have enough to survive without the government, 2%.
Recently, more Americans declared bankruptcy than graduated from college.
In 90% of divorce cases, arguments about money play a prominent role.
In 56% of divorce cases, money was the primary reason for the divorce.
Listen this is closer to home.
A study of thirty denominations shows that although income in our Church has increased 31% in the last 10 years, giving has gone down 8.5%.
This is a spiritual condition.
We have more than we have ever had and we give less than we have ever given.
Should God continue to bless a people who use His Treasures on themselves and give nothing back to fulfill His great commission?
We need to get back to Biblical Financial Wisdom.
Slide #30
Our Nation needs Biblical financial wisdom.
The National Debt as of last Week was $8,419,660,748,286.79 (8.4 Trillion)
That number is so big we can’t even wrap our minds around it.
So let me break it down.
That amounts to spending $19.2 million every minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for one year.
America owes more than it is worth based on our Gross National Product, and we are going further into debt every second.
And nobody is talking about it.
Slide #31
Take a look at this quote, “The budget should be balanced; the treasury should be refilled; public debt should be reduced; and the arrogance of public officials should be controlled” Cicero. 106-43 B.C.
This is more applicable today than it ever has been.
Slide #32
I also believe our States need Biblical financial wisdom.
Anyone who watches TV or reads the paper knows there are States that are in financial trouble.
New York and Boston alone have debts in the billions of dollars and they are just cities.
California is on the brink of filing bankruptcy in federal court!
And nobody is talking about it.
Slide #33
And our families need Biblical financial wisdom.
In 1980 the total consumer debt was $1,300,000,000,000 (trillion).
And now it is over $4,714,505,370,000 (trillion).
Now the population of the U.S. is just under 300 million people.
So just to pay off our credit cards debt it would cost every man, women, and child in America $16,000 each.
And that is just our consumer debt, our eating our last month, the new TV we financed, the easy monthly payments we agreed to, that’s all this is.
We may not be able to change our Country or our State, but we sure can change our own families.
My intension here is not to upset you or guilt you or panic you with this information.
My intension is to deliver the facts and then in the seminar in a couple of weeks, help you develop a plan to make things right.
Our God is an awesome God and He is in control.
But I believe that we must live our lives with our eyes wide open.
We must see what is happening in our Nation, in our States, and in the families around us.
We must open our eyes and see the sickness that is debt, and realize we must protect ourselves from this Economic disaster for the Glory of God and the survival of His people.
Slide #34
Our God is awesome and will provide for our needs, but only if we are trusting in Him alone.
Only if we place Him first in our lives will we experience the full blessings of God.
((Proverbs 11:24-25 “There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered.”))
God has given us the wisdom and the opportunities to make a difference in our own families, to make a difference in the life of our church and ultimately to make a difference in our community.
To become that beacon of light in a dark world.
But if we are living as the world is living, if we are misusing God’s resources, believing the lie of materialism and succumbing to instant gratification then like Esau we have sold our birthright for the proverbial soup of more stuff, and are giving up the privilege to be ambassadors for Christ.
Scripture’s perspective on debt is clear.
Look at the first portion of Romans 13:8 from several different Bible translations:
Slide #35
“Owe no man anything” (KJV). “Let no debt remain outstanding” (NIV). “Pay all your debts” (LB). “Owe nothing to anyone” (NAS). “Keep out of debt and owe no man anything” (Amplified).
This is pretty clear don’t you think?
Why do you think it is so important to keep out of debt?
Well first of all:
Slide #36
- Debt is slavery.
In Proverbs 22:7 we learn why our Lord warns us about debt: “Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender” (LB).
When we are in debt, we are in a position of servitude to the lender.
And the deeper we are in debt, the more of a servant we become.
We do not have the freedom to be directed by God where to spend His money, because His money is already legally obligated to meet our debts.
God calls this bondage.
Slide #37
In 1 Corinthians 7:23 Paul writes, “You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.”
Our Father made the ultimate sacrifice by giving His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for us.
And He now wants His children free to serve Him, and not to serve men or money.
A second reason it is so important to stay out of debt is that:
Slide #38
- Debt was considered a curse.
In the Old Testament being out of debt was one of the promised rewards for obedience.
“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God…You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.”
Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 12
Slide #39
However, being in debt was one of the curses inflicted for disobedience.
“However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you… The alien who lives among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, but you will be the tail.” Deuteronomy 28:15, 43-44
Remember the National debt we looked at before? The 8.5 Trillion Dollars.
If you go to the US Treasury website they will show you who we owe this money to.
And do you know 46% of our debt is owed to foreign interest. Japan is buying up America left and right.
And the final warning about debt is that:
Slide #40
- Debt presumes upon tomorrow.
When we get into debt, we assume that we will earn enough in the future to pay the debt.
We fall for the promise of “easy monthly payments.”
Scripture cautions us against presumption:
And lets be honest there is nothing easy about those monthly payments.
((“Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow, we shall go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and also do this or that.” James 4:13-15))
If I were going to leave you with one bit of advice to apply to your finances, besides come to the seminar, it would be this.
At a minimum, Live on less than 80% of your income, give away at least 10%, and save at least 10%.
Slide #42
“Malachi 3:8-10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows”.
This is the only place in Scripture where I can find, that God says test Him.
I know of others that say do not put the Lord your God to the test.
But here when it comes to giving He says test Him.
And I believe He is saying test Him because many of you don’t think you can do it.
Your thinking, live on 80% your crazy I can’t even live on 100% of my income.
Most Americans live on 104% of their incomes, that is why there is so much debt.
And God understands this and he promises to provide for you if you will step out in faith and give back to him what is his anyway, remember principle #1 He owns it all, He is just letting you use a portion of it, for a time.
You are a conduit; you are the vehicle which God will use to bless others.
And if He can’t trust you to pass it on then He will take it from you and find someone He can trust.
If we apply God’s wisdom to all of these areas in our life we will reap the harvest of blessings that God offers to us.
Slide#43
1 Timothy 6:18-19 “Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed”
We must get back to Biblical Financial Stewardship if we are going to make a difference for Christ.
We must get back to the Word of God.
That’s all I got.
Now as I said earlier, it would not be possible to teach everything about financial stewardship in 40min.
We would like to offer a more in-depth study in a couple of weeks.
We’ve laid the foundation and now I would like to give you some practical steps that you can take to getting back to Biblical Financial Stewardship.
Sat. Aug. 19th from 8:00 till 12:30 here in our fellowship hall.
This study is for anyone who wants to know more about what God has to say about earning money, spending money, getting out of debt, giving, investing, and many other aspects dealing with money and possessions.
This will be for anyone who wants to make a difference in there own lives, our church and our community.
All you need to do is fill out the bottom of your insert with your name, phone # and email, include any specific topic you would like to see covered, and drop it in the offering plate and someone will contact you in a couple of weeks.
Or you can sign up in the foyer and
On the way out the College and Career class will be handing out a flyer on the way out.
These young adults just completed a ten week course on Biblical Finances and really wanted to be involved today and during the seminar. So we thank them for their enthusiasm.
I want to make this as easy as possible for you to take the next step, to discover how to use the treasures that our master entrusted us with, so that we can have a better relationship with our Father God, a better relationship with our wives and with our families.
Lets close in prayer.
Oh awesome father I just want to thank you for this amazing opportunity to speak to my brothers and sisters and to share your truth about money and possessions.
I pray that our eyes have been opened and our hearts and minds will be receptive to your Truth.
We thank you for your Word and the freedom we have in America to study its truths.
Father for those who know you, I pray they meditate on these truths and that You will show them your will in there financial lives.
Some have never heard these truths before and many have heard them over and over.
But now is the time to receive them and act upon them.
Now is the time for your people to align there financial lives with your will.
Now is the time for your church to be different from the world.
Now is the time for us to honor you for all the many blessings that you blessed our families with.
We can’t do anything about yesterday and tomorrow is not promised to us, but we have been given this moment and now is all we can change.
And Father for those who do not know you personally, I pray along with all my brothers and sisters right now, that they would follow the prompting in their hearts.
There is no denying the truth in each one of us that you exist, some have accepted this truth and given there lives to you, others are still seeking, and others are not even looking.
Now is the time, it’s their turn to recognize your son Jesus Christ as the truth and the light.
And if you are one who is seeking the truth, I pray right now sitting in the pew right where you are.
Just ask Jesus to come into your life, Just as I did a few years ago, lift your heart to heaven and ask Jesus to lift you out of the muddy mire your life is stuck in.
Ask Jesus to forgive you for all of the mistakes in your life.
Ask Him to become the leader you need so desperately in your life and He will come.
Lord we thank you for these individuals.
I know there is celebration in Heaven when one of your lost sheep are found and we celebrate with you.
We Love you Father, Thank you Jesus. And all God’s people said. Amen
During this next song our Pastors will be down front here if you need someone to talk to,
Or the alter will be open if you are prompted to take a knee, and lay something before Christ,
Just come.
