Are you connected to the vine or are you a withering branch?

Can you stand the purge?

Can Christ abide in you?

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that bearers not fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit." (John 15:1-2)

The Lord accepts our periodic disobedience, But understand, a purge is coming. To purge is to cleanse/purify by separating. Sometimes our own thoughts and actions separate us from God.

God cuts nonsense (mess) away from our lives so we can grow and bear good fruit!

God has a mission for us, individually AND collectively.

"Now ye are clean through the word, which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." (John 15:3-4)

To abide in Christ is to endure, accept, be connected.

When we are not connected, we wither! We must be willing to let some things go!

*Get rid of jealousy. If you are focused on "them" or what they have, you can't see God.

*Don't worry about what's happening in someone else's life. Your own actions such as envying others can separate you from God like a withering vine.

If you are carrying nonsense, PUT IT DOWN!

In life, we have to go through things in order to be laborers in the vineyard.

God wants to create a better you, so stay connected and get ready for the purge.
