Mark 14:22-25
Invitation to the Lord’s Table
The Lord Himself instituted the holy ordinance.
He commanded His disciples to partake of the bread and the cup, emblems of His broken body and shed blood.
This is His table.
The feast is for His disciples.
Let all those who have with true repentance forsaken their sins, and have believed in Christ unto salvation, draw near and take these emblems.
Let us remember that it is the memorial of the death and passion of our Lord; also a token of His coming again.
Let us not forget that we are one, at one table with the Lord.
Prayer of Confession, Consecration, and Thanksgiving (Pastor Tim)
Distribute the Bread (instrumental music)
“… the Lord Jesus on the /same /night in which He was betrayed took bread;* *and when He had given thanks, He broke /it /and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’” (1 Corinthians 11:23-24)
Distribute the Cup (instrumental music)
“In the same manner /He /also /took /the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood.
This do, as often as you drink /it, /in remembrance of Me.’” (1 Corinthians 11:25)
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:26
