Forgiveness: Mathew 18

Summary Mt. 18:1-6

v. 1 Jesus’ disciples come to him to find out the answer to their question, “who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

v. 2 Jesus called a child over and put the kiddo in the center of the disciples

v. 3 Unless you (disciples) become humble like this child you’ll never enter the Kingdom of Heaven

v. 4 Whoever lives a life of humility that resembles this child will be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

v. 5 Whoever receives a child like this receives me

v. 6 On the other hand anyone who causes a child who believes in me to sin, it would be better for him to die a horrible death drowning in the sea

Believers are receivers are disciples of Jesus and thus are like him, humble like a child.
