Discipleship involves the whole being. It is a decision from the will to learn, love and live like Jesus.

A disciple loves the Lord with all their heart, mind, body, soul and strength.

Deut 6:5, Mark 12:30

A disciple knows Jesus as both Lord and Savior

Savior — this is knowing the love of Christ who died for your sins and gives you his righteousness. He pays the price for you.

Lord — a life of growing obedience towards the Jesus motivated by love

A Disciple of Jesus is becoming more like Jesus over time.

Both a life like his and a heart like his.
