But noticed that God used his physical strength to begin eliminating the Philistines, the oppressors of Israel.
Samson was out for Himself. But God was using this for the preservation of Israel.
Notice the text never says “Samson did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.” So far as Samson goes, he was doing what he wanted. And yet God was still at work despite his ungodliness.
