The Book of the Covenant is Exodus 20:1-23:19; the code for God’s to live by
Provisions were made by God for a place of worship—where He would meet with His people

The Earthly Place of Holiness: The Tabernacle

Tabernacle=tent; tent of meeting; eventually formed into a permanent temple in Jerusalem
Place where God’s glory dwelled
Let’s talk about holiness...
characteristic of being sacred; set apart for worship; as opposed to something common
…and about that mercy seat
or place of propitiation

The place where God’s wrath is appeased; where we can be made “at one”
Now....
Galatians 2:20 ESV
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Romans 3:23–25 ESV
