Come to Jesus and Learn from Him

In the gospel Jesus tells all who are burdened to come to him and he will give them rest. I can’t imagine anyone not having a burden these days, unless they are dead.

Jesus says come to me, and learn from me. We come to Jesus to learn how to live, We learn how to have a prayer life, how to reject the bad and choose the good, and how to persevere to the end in the midst of grave opposition, with faith hope and charity.

When we come to Jesus this way, we can feel our burdens start to lighten right away finding rest in him in his meekness, and humility of heart.
