Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
God's Ravens
A little boy, having read with his mother the story of how God fed Elijah by the ravens, sat on the wintry night in a fireless room beside a bare table. With a simple, childish trust, he asked his widowed mother if he might set the door open for God's ravens to come in.
"I feel sure they must be on their way," he said. The trustful mother granted the request. The burgomaster of that German town, passing by, was attracted by the sight of the open door, and entered, inquiring the cause. When he learned the reason, he said, "I will be God's ravens!" He relieved their needs then and afterwards.
"Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed" (Ps. 37:3).

This word need in our text expresses something of a necessity, something lacking, something missing
The word supply indicates to fill, make full, complete, bring to completion such as found in
ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24
and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Acts 2:2
when used in the New Testament with the idea of filling or supplying something it carries with it the strong sense of exclusiveness or totality. So in Ephesians 5:18 when a person is told to be filled with the Spirit it means to be completely controlled by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. Christians are said in Acts 13:53 and Romans 15:13-14 to be filled with joy, peace, and knowledge. In our text it shows us that God grants an abundant supply for our needs.
This morning Christ will meet your need. He will supply - fill up exclusively your lack, your necessity.
I want us to break up the passage just a bit here Paul says something significant here I want us to catch,
BUT MY GOD!!!! Not just any God, but the God of all gods, the One who created the heaven's and earth, or as Mr. Kong an evangelist in China described him to the Chinese people as God the "Nothing-He-Cannot-Do-One"
SHALL SUPPLY - One writer said, the check is already at the bank!!!
ALL YOUR NEED - That is shouting material whatever the need, He will supply all of it!!!
Whatever that need Jesus can meet it as he says in Luke 6:38 (KJV)
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Pressed down, shaken together running over!!! Look up actual quote.
Are you troubled, anxious, need guidance, God's leadings
Exodus 33:12-14 (KJV)
12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
What a promise that "I will go with thee…" and "I will give thee rest." Jesus gave the promise, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and ye shall find rest for your souls… I almost imagine Jesus standing as he has been praying his hands still uplifted tears coursing down his cheeks pleadingly as he says,…
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Joshua 1:1-5 (KJV)
1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
I was praying for my Aunt who went in Thursday for heart surgery 3 arteries where at least 80% blocked kidneys in terrible condition if they failed during surgery she would be on dialyses the rest of her life. As I was praying for her the Lord gave me the promise which I shared with the family, "
Isaiah 41:10 (King James Version) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
He promises, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.
Are you lonely are you heavy hearted tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus. I tell you this morning whatever the need Jesus will meet it.
Do you need protection and provision HE WILL SUPPLY THE NEED, David at a ripe age said, "I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread" why HE FOUND THAT MY GOD WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED!!!
A story I haven't thought of in a long time, I've shared it here a few years ago but I want to share it again
Missionaries Dick and Margaret Hillis found themselves caught in China during the Japanese invasion. The couple lived with their two children in the inland town of Shenkiu. The village was tense with fear, for every day brought terrifying reports of the Japanese advance. At the worst possible time, Dick developed appendicitis, and he knew his life depended on making the long journey by rickshaw to the hospital. On January 15, 1941, with deep foreboding, Margaret watched him leave.
Soon the Chinese colonel came with news. The enemy was near and townspeople must evacuate. Margaret shivered, knowing that one-year-old Johnny and two-month-old Margaret Anne would never survive as refugees. So she stayed put. Early next morning she tore the page from the wall calendar and read the new day’s Scripture. It was Psalm 56:3—What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
The town emptied during the day, and next morning Margaret arose, feeling abandoned. The new verse on the calendar was Psalm 9:10—Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
The next morning she arose to distant sounds of gunfire and worried about food for her children. The calendar verse was Genesis 50:21—I will nourish you and your little ones. An old woman suddenly popped in with a pail of steaming goat’s milk, and another straggler arrived with a basket of eggs.
Through the day, sounds of warfare grew louder, and during the night Margaret prayed for deliverance. The next morning she tore the page from the calendar to read Psalm 56:9—When I cry unto Thee, then shall my enemies turn back. The battle was looming closer, and Margaret didn’t go to bed that night. Invasion seemed imminent. But the next morning, all was quiet. Suddenly, villagers began returning to their homes, and the colonel knocked on her door. For some reason, he told her, the Japanese had withdrawn their troops. No one could understand it, but the danger had passed. They were safe.
Margaret glanced at her wall calendar and felt she had been reading the handwriting of God.*

Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
I've asked Brother Addison and maybe some of the Family to come sing a song this morning and you mind the Lord, LET GOD MEET YOUR NEED because he truly is ALL YOU NEED.
