At the Fullness of Time!
At the Fullness of Time!
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Patience is not easy! Waiting on God’s timing can feel like experiencing God’s rejection!
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.
What do we do when the best outcome doesn’t come to fruition, when people fail, especially when we really needed them to step up?
What do we do when evil seems to have the upper hand?
The Light was revealed!
The Light was revealed!
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
I want to observe a truth that should give us encouragement. Jesus came into a world of darkness. Rather than fear or submission to evil, He shined the light of love.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Not only did Christ not get swallowed up by darkness, His light provides a path for us to also walk in this world.
The Light overcomes darkness!
The Light overcomes darkness!
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
It is easy to put your hope in:
the right politician, your spouse, your children, your parents, your finances, the future
Only those who put their hope in the Lord will overcome!
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
That same Light that conquered death, that established righteousness, that endured temptation is now available to you today. You don’t have to be afraid of the darkness. It’s there. But now you not only have the light, you are the light.
