God is the Supreme Being and Creator of the universe. Known by the personal name Yahweh. The New Testament sees God as Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit (Trinity)
God is Holy in Nature and is the standard by which Mankind is measured. The revelation of God reveals the downfalls of sinful man.

God’s unique holy nature separates Him from all humans and prevents humans from approaching God directly. “Holiness” (קדשׁ, qdsh) refers to God’s otherness: that He is awesome and worthy of respect, completely removed from anything profane. Holiness also indicates something belonging to God, something needing to be removed from ordinary use, something consecrated and set apart.

Alpha and Omega

This particular phrases speaks of the completeness of God. There is nothing missing in God. Both Alpha and Omega together signals His sufficiency.
This expression indicates that God is absolutely complete: he has in himself what the biblical scholar H. B. Swete called ‘the boundless life which embraces all and transcends all’.
