Messengers - The Message to Mary

Then the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.”

Imagine for a moment being Mary

How overwhelming this must have been

She was young, who would believe her

Mary lived a life filled with moments from God and worship

Today that's what we are going to do -

Focus on the moments and worship

Reflect on the Moments

But Mary was treasuring up all these things in her heart and meditating on them.

After the Angels, birth, and shepherds - reflected on them all

She remembered these moments

God gives us moments to latch on to

Moments of great faith and presences and power

Worship in the Moments

When we encounter and experience God's presence - 1 of 2 things will happen

We worship or we run

Mary worshiped

Luke 1:46–47 CSB

And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

When we worship it fills us to overflowing

When we worship it is contagious

Worship changes our perspective from issues and problems to the God who is over it all

Colossians 3:16 CSB

Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

I believe Communion is one our greatest expressions of worship as we remember what Christ has done

It seems so simple, but I know it is hard

You will never experience Christmas or life the way you should until you surrender.

God is ready to assume full responsibility for the life wholly yielded to Him.
