“WE BARE THE COVENANT MARK”

I.                   The Covenant cut between Father and Son

A.    John 20:24-31 Jesus after his resurrection displaying the marks

B.     Mark 9:17-20 where the demon possessed boy “saw” Jesus and went into a

convulsion. The Anointing abided in Jesus presently, as it also abides in us now.

C.     Demon possessed woman at North Main, her spirit recognized the spirit within me, and that spirit was terrified of the spirit within me. The demon within her was immobilized with fear at the covenant mark that was seen in and on me.

II.                The Lord appointing, anointing the 72

A.    Luke 10:1-3 and Jesus’s anointing being placed on others

1.      He sent them ahead of himself, as he is sending us ahead of him today.

2.      In verse 2, he prays for the “harvesters,” and not the harvest.

3.      Without the church having a “vision” of this we will not do the work of the church

4.      Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish:

5.      The blood will be a sign for you Exodus 12:13, and when I “see” the blood, I will Passover you.

III.             The demonic world bowed at the disciples as it bowed to The Master

A.    Luke 10:17-22 The spirits were subject to them, as they are subject to us.

B.     These spirits are fear, sickness, divorce, children on drugs, financial lack, and they are all under the master spirit, of the spirit of fear.

  C.  II Timothy 1:7 …2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;                                                                                               

        but of power; and of love, and of a sound mind.

IV.             We have been covenanted together to Almighty God by the Blood of Jesus, we

have been given Jesus’ name, and we must develop confidence in that name. We are to show forth the Character of God.

A.    Jesus name is now our name, as we go out with his authority.

B.     John 16:23-28 Jesus has given us the right to us “His Name.”

C.     Philippians 2:8-11 at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow. We as the church

are named with his name, but faith does not come by the name, Rom:10:17 Faith

cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

D.    When Stanley cut covenant with the chief he then went out with the authority

of the chief’s name. People saw the chief coming, and not Stanley, because  he

had cut covenant with the chief, and had the chief’s covenant mark of his staff.

V.      This power has already been bestowed upon us

A.    Mark 16:15-20 Before his ascension Jesus gave to his believers all authority in

heaven and in earth

  B. The Lord working with and confirming the word. He confirms his word through

       his people. The Covenant Mark the world will see is from us, his people.

V.                The Covenant Mark is “Seen” on his covenant people, as a sign of the Character of God.

A.    Genesis 12:2-3

B.     Genesis 14 and the Kings of the East, and Abraham’s 318 trained servants born in his own house.

C.     Genesis 15:10-14, with Abraham and the fowls, and God’s people coming out with great substance.

D.    Genesis 26:1 with Isaac & 12-14, 25-29, Isaac was blessed out of the same covenant

E.     Joseph had his name made great, as the Govenor of all Egypt

F.      Mother Teresa was not wealthy, but according to Genesis 12:2-3 her name is great

G.    Jesus name is not only great, it is the Name above all Names Php 2:8-11.

H.    Exodus 10: 21-23 light in the land of Goshen.
