I. God’ Presence v. 1
A. Fellowship awaits us in the presence of God. His children enjoy a family relationship. They feel safe, secure, and at ease.
B. We should practice God’s presence. He is with us every day, hour, and moment. (Heb. 13:5)
II. God’s Power v. 2-4
A. God is omnipotent. His great power created the heavens and the earth.
B. He is abundantly able to meet all our needs. He can change circumstances and people. He can keep us secure in Him (2 Tim. 1:12)
III. God’s Providence v. 5-8
A. Providence means “the act of providing.” It is “divine guidance, through His loving care and intervention” (illustration?)
B. God provides an escape from trial and temptations. He directs and intervenes in unusual ways (Heb. 13:8)
IV. God’s Protection v. 9-13 (MEH)
A. Distance is no problem with God.
B. As we pray He reaches down to protect our families, loved ones, missionaries, and friends. (He. 13:6)
V. God’s Promises Ps. 9115-16 (KEEP)
A. The promises of God are great and many. They cannot fail because God cannot fail.
B. We can claim His promises only as we meet His conditions- setting “our love on” Him. (Heb. 10:23)
