@LEVEL FOUR = Conservative estimates tell us that 70% of the world's population is non‑Christian with 76% of the remaining 30% Christian by name only.

@LEVEL FOUR = In 1989 7000 SBC Churches did not baptize anyone.

@LEVEL FOUR = Over 2/3 of SBC Churches are either declining or have plateaued.

@LEVEL FOUR = It takes 43 SB one year to win one person to Christ

@LEVEL TWO = What is the Answer?

@LEVEL THREE = Crusade Evangelism ‑ Billy Graham

@LEVEL FOUR = 53% of those who respond are already attending church

@LEVEL FOUR = 47% are unchurched of those only 15% are actively involved in church one year later.

@LEVEL THREE = Para‑Church Organizations

@LEVEL FOUR = Only 3% of those won will be actively involved in church one year later.

@LEVEL THREE = Local Church

@LEVEL FOUR = If won by a friend in a local church, 85% will actively involved in church one year later.

@LEVEL THREE = Tragedy = Only 5% of SB's will attempt to personally lead someone to Christ.

@LEVEL ONE = 1A. THE PRIORITY OF SINNERS (Luke 15:4‑7)

@LEVEL TWO = 1B. The Incrediable Value of  a Lost Soul (v.4)

@SCRIPTURE = Mark 8:36‑37 (NIV)  What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?  Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

@SCRIPTURE = "to seek" = "to search, to look for something that is lost with a goal of rescuing or saving it.<R>Infinitive of purpose, shows potential action.

@LEVEL TWO = Lost men, like coins, tend to stay lost.

@LEVEL TWO = Seeking requires ...

@LEVEL TWO = 1B. Seeing

@LEVEL THREE = We need clear vision

@LEVEL THREE = We must see:

@LEVEL FOUR = Ourselves as God's mouthpiece.

@LEVEL FOUR = Others as God's mission.

@LEVEL TWO = 2B. Sweeping

@LEVEL FOUR = Implies cleansing

@SCRIPTURE = 2 Tim 2:21 (NIV)  If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

@LEVEL FOUR = We cleanse when we remove unnecessary and worthless things.

@LEVEL FOUR = Carefully so as not to miss even one.

@SCRIPTURE = "to save" = deliver, to snatch from peril.  To rescue someone from real danger. The same word used in Matthew 14:30 when Peter called out to Jesus to "save" him from drowning.

@LEVEL TWO = 1B. The Peril of Man

@LEVEL THREE = 1C. Hopeless Condition  (Ephesians 2:1‑3)

@LEVEL FOUR = Dead  (v.1)

@LEVEL FOUR = Deceived  (v.2)

@LEVEL FOUR = Doomed (v.3)

@ILL TITLE = Recognize the Reality of Hell

@ILL TEXT = It has been reported that William Booth once said: "I wish that God would allow every solider in the Salvation Army to look into Hell for five minutes so that they might realize the peril of men's souls."

@LEVEL FOUR = God is not playing eternal Russian roulette with the souls of men.

@SCRIPTURE = John 6:37 (NIV)  All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

@SCRIPTURE = John 10:10 (NIV)  ...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

@LEVEL FOUR = Fellowship implies safety ‑ Jesus compels us to take risks to "save" the lost

@LEVEL FOUR = Education implies refining the saints ‑ Jesus commissions us to reach the sinners

@LEVEL TWO = WE MUST EVANGELIZE

@LEVEL FOUR = I know I am saved

@LEVEL FOUR = I have not made seeking a priority

@LEVEL FOUR = I have not made winning the lost a priority

@LEVEL FOUR = I have grown comfortable with the status quo

@LEVEL FOUR = I am not a christian
