@LEVEL ONE = INTRODUCTION:

@LEVEL TWO = 1. Only God has the right to call anyone a fool.

@SCRIPTURE = Psa 14:1(NIV)<R>The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."...

@SCRIPTURE = Luke 12:20(NIV)<R>"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'

@LEVEL FOUR = God called the rich farmer a fool.

@LEVEL TWO = 2.  A Definition of Fool.

@LEVEL FOUR = A spiritually insensitive person who lives his life apart from God's spirit.

@LEVEL FOUR = Fools are self‑made with help from parents and friends.

@LEVEL FOUR = The problem is not with the head ‑ but with the heart.

@LEVEL TWO = 3.  The Process is shown in verse 22.

@LEVEL FOUR = Begin life simple

@LEVEL FOUR = Simplicity moves into mocking.

@LEVEL FOUR = Mocking progresses into a fool.

@LEVEL FOUR = Follows the line of least resistance.

@LEVEL FOUR = Care‑free!

@LEVEL TWO = 2B.  He Lacks The Ability To Make Good Judgements

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 9:4(NIV)<R>"Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack judgment.

@LEVEL TWO = 3B.  He is Easily Led

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 14:15 (NIV)<R>A simple man believes anything...

@LEVEL FOUR = He is gullible.

@LEVEL FOUR = Therefore he is bound to conform.

@LEVEL TWO = 4B.  He is Headed For Trouble

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 22:3(NIV)<R>A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.

@LEVEL THREE = 1.  Oblivious to danger.

@LEVEL THREE = 2.  Ignores the gospel.

@LEVEL THREE = 3.  Has no comprehension of sin.

@LEVEL THREE = 4.  Lives for the present

@LEVEL TWO = We would call him a smart‑alect or a cynic, or a mocker.

@LEVEL TWO = 1B.  He Delights in His Mocking

@LEVEL FOUR = Makes fun, sneers at all that is Godly.

@LEVEL TWO = 2B.  He Defies Instruction

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 13:1(NIV)<R>A wise son heeds his father's instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke.

@LEVEL FOUR = "You can always tell a mocker, but you can't tell him much"

@LEVEL TWO = 3B.  He Despises Correction

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 15:12(NIV)<R>A mocker resents correction; he will not consult the wise.

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 9:7‑8(NIV)<R>"Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse. Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.

@LEVEL TWO = 4B.  He is Destined for Destruction

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 13:1(NIV)<R>A wise son heeds his father's instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke.

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 13:13(NIV)<R>He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded.

@LEVEL THREE = THERE IS HELP FOR THE SIMPLE.

@LEVEL THREE = MAY BE HOPE FOR THE SCORNER.

@LEVEL THREE = VERY LITTLE HOPE FOR THE FOOL.

@LEVEL ONE = 3A.  THE INTRANSIGENCE OF THE FOOL

@LEVEL TWO = The Characteristic of a Fool.

@LEVEL FOUR = Fools have become set, immovable. 

@LEVEL FOUR = Notice the words in verse 22.  "love", "delight", "hate"

@LEVEL FOUR = God is the embodiment of knowledge and wisdom.

@LEVEL TWO = 1B.  He Rejects Wisdom

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 1:7 (NIV)<R>The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 17:10 (NIV)<R>A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool.

@LEVEL FOUR = You can't whip him back in line.

@LEVEL FOUR = If satan can get us to laugh at sin in the lives of others we won't take it serious in our own lives.

@LEVEL TWO = 3B.  He Reveals in His Sin

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 15:20‑21(NIV)<R>A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother. Folly delights a man who lacks judgment, but a man of understanding keeps a straight course.

@LEVEL FOUR = They make no distinction between good and evil.

@LEVEL TWO = 4B.  He Returns to His Sin

@SCRIPTURE = Prov 26:11(NIV)<R>As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.

@LEVEL FOUR = Even though their sin will destroy them they continue to go back to it.

@LEVEL TWO = 5B.  He Rejects The Savior

@SCRIPTURE = Psa 14:1(NIV)<R>The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.

@LEVEL ONE = APPLICATION

@LEVEL TWO = How Not To Raise A Fool.

@LEVEL TWO = 1.  Remember the Simple can be Taught

@LEVEL FOUR = Must start when they are young.

@LEVEL TWO = 2.  Remember that He Learns by Example.

@LEVEL FOUR = Show him how sin is punished in others.

@LEVEL FOUR = Allow him to suffer the consequences of his own sin before it becomes too serious.

@LEVEL TWO = 3.  Guard His Company
