The Anointing on the Church

• What does the anointing look like? God on flesh doing what flesh cannot do!!! Elijah and Elisha 2 Kings 2:7-14 and the double portion being on Elisha. Elijah first had the mantle, and then it was passed on, as it still is being passed on!!!

• 2 Kings 13:14-21 Elisha and King Joash, and the anointing coming on the king after he laid his hand under Elisha’s hands, and the double portion on Elisha after he was dead, raising the dead by touching Elisha’s bones.

• Pastor Al’s jacket and Ron Lucas applying the anointing that is on him. Not striking the ground just 3 times.

• The Body of Christ 1 Corinthians 12:25-31, as we are all anointed with some particular gift.

• Each part does its work Ephesians 4:11-16

• To get to the next level, we as a corporate body must rise up individually and corporately, and use what we have already been anointed with…which is

• Luke 4:18-19 and the anointing that was upon The Anointed One is upon his church in total, but we must ALL COME TOGETHER to operate in His anointing.

• The anointed head of the church is Christ, and we as His Body ALREADY carry his anointing, but we must KNOW this, and act according. Just thinking it in the soul, is not knowing in the spirit.

• We have an anointed head, and if the body refuses to believe that the anointing that is on the head is on the body, we are Ichabod…the Glory had departed, as in 1 Samuel 4:21-22 and the Ark of God being taken, as the Glory of God is departed.

• Obtained like precious faith 2 Peter 1:1, we have the same faith as The Apostle Peter, and Peter has the same faith as Christ. NLT… who share the same precious faith we have!!! The same faith, because it is the same anointing.
