Bind the Sacrifice to The Altar 12-13-04

Numbers 14:21 all the earth shall be filled with the Glory of The LORD

Tommy Tenney and the Glory of God falling in Houston TX

Altar is a place of death, the lamb, the kid, Christ

It is to the death in us, and brings forth God’s presence, His GLORY

Singed hide and burning flesh stink in the natural, God loves it, as He can come near,

God accepts the sacrifice by “consuming it”

God’s Glory can only approach “dead flesh”

I Kings 3:4 and 1,000 burnt offerings by Solomon, The LORD appeared that night

WE are the wood for the altar!!!

1 Corinthians 1:29 “That no flesh shall glory in His presence.”

Psalm 118:19-29 the sacrifice is The Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in His eyes

Verse 25 and save & prosperity

Verse 27 and bind, is to fasten, make prisoner, begin the battle

Revelation 12:11 “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and be the word of

their testimony,  and loved not their own lives unto the death.”

They came to the altar, and their flesh was consumed

Jack last week, sin lies at your door, the sin offering is atonement, it is purification

Sin has mandated the natural to be sacrificed, it was not God’s original plan

Abraham sacrificed Ishmael the natural, before he offered up Isaac the spiritual

Romans 12:1-2 offer up your bodies as living sacrifices, sacrifice is purification

When the church experiences the Glory of God, a Spirit of Repentance will break out

and then the New Wine Skins will be filled

New wine must be in new wineskins, for the old wineskins – our flesh, cannot take

            the Glory of The LORD

It is cause and effect, the cause is the Glory of God, and the effect is the new wineskins

We must choose to bind the sacrifice (US) to the altar, and have those areas consumed

Intimacy with God requires a certain level of brokenness, because purity comes from

            brokenness.

The Glory was meant to rest on us, Isaiah 60:1-3 & John 17:22
