This week, we consider what the apostle wrote in 1 Thessalonians 2:1-13. How reassuring it is to know that the very "word of God...performs its work in you who believe" (1 Thess. 2:13). The lost become saved by the power of God's word. The saved grow in holiness by the power of God's word. May we ever thank Him that He uses His word to work His purposes in our lives.
