Introduction

Serve For The Glory of God by Prayer

1 Peter 4:7 NKJV
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
Be watchful meaning pay attention to things to pray for.
Be Serious or purposeful in prayer.
Make sure we pray for productive things.
2 Timothy 4:5 NKJV
But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
James 5:8–9 NKJV
You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

Serve For The Glory of God by Tenderness

1 Peter 4:8 NKJV
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
This one of the most misunderstood and misused scriptures in the Bible.
Love covers sin not by covering up sin, enabling sin, or going along with sin.
Love covers sin by not giving in to sin.
Love covers sin by rebuking sin.
James 5:20 NKJV
let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:9 NKJV
Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
Serve For The Glory of God by Talent
1 Peter 4:10 NKJV
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Every Charisma or gift was not necessarily a miraculous gift.
Gifts are sometimes referred to in the natural.
Romans 12:6–8 NKJV
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
1 Peter 4:11 NKJV
If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
