Sermon Outline: Time: Glory: Praise

Stealing is taking something that belongs to someone else without their permission. When we think of stealing we think of money, clothes, cars and other possessions. However, I want to take this eighth commandment and connect it to those things we steal from God that affect our relationship with others.

Thou Shall Not Steal Time

Time Belongs to God, He created it to teach discipline to humanity. Note: Gen.1:3-5, Gen.2:2-3, Eccl.3:1-8,
God has limited the Amount of Time Given to Humans. Job 7:1, Job 14:14,
God has Established time to show-forth His Work of Redemption: Gal.4:4, Eph.1:10,
How Not to Steal Time:
Allow God to Order your steps—Ps.119:133,
Seek the GOOD of Others—Phil.2:3, Ps.34:14, Eccles. 3:12,
Intentionally Lead Someone to Christ—Acts 1:8,

Thou Shall Not Steal Glory—Glory means shining

a. Walk as Children of Light—Eph.5:8-16,
b. Love Like Christ—Jn.13:35

Thou Shall Not Steal Praise—Bragging

a. All you have Comes from God—James 1:17
