But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, and moreover, I will not let Israel go.”
The same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their foremen,
“lying words”
Christological: Jesus met resistance to the kingdom
Jesus used that resistance to accomplish the goal of redemption. It was through that resistance that we have life.
Illustration: Communist China closes its doors to centuries of Christian activity in the 50s and 60s. The persecution drives the world underground into the ground and now through the work of the underground church there are millions of Chinese christiand 67 mill and to some estimates that number will continue to double and multioply.
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
Don’t take it personal, everytime you deliver the news of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ you will face spiritual opposition but God often uses that for his good!
folk look at you funny. interruptions, distractions, friends falling out, folk think you are crazy. people walking away. people saying they got it to shut you up.
folk losing family members. Folk losing limbs.
Don’t take it personal. use that as encouragement to keep going forward. Our Lord Jesus overcame the resistance, so that we no loner go alone we go in HIm we go in power.
Don’t fet we are his ambassadors, stand uo and declare to the power thst Jesus has come to save. Repent and beleve and let God fight the battle If he appointed the work he will complete the work

Describe the system of bondage that squeezed Israel and divided the people from their leadership
It is done so that we can see no hope and place for help outside of asking ther enemy for mercy.
We often go to the system of subjugation for mercy rather than the redeemer who is outside of the system.

We’ve experiencxed so much this year. It often get worse before it getts better.
No faith goes untested How do we know it’s faith. God never goes without revealing himself, for how will we know His greatness and his power if he doesn’t give us a stqge to show himself.
Jesus was Crushed by the Power, but He takes the Power from the power when He is raised from the Dead.

So that we now can go in confidence.
