BAPTISTS
Biblical Authority: (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:15-21; I Thessalonians 2:13) the sole and final authority of Scripture.
Autonomy of the Local Church: (Matthew 18:15-17; Acts 15) no organization, religious association or denomination, etc. shall have authority over the local church.
Priesthood of the Believer: (I Peter 2:9; Hebrews 10:19-22) no earthly mediator is needed to come directly to God for the regenerate believer.
Two ordinances: Baptism and the Lord's Supper (Matthew 28:19)
Individual Soul Liberty: (Romans 14:7-12, 20-23) every believer is accountable to God alone and has the freedom to live within the bounds of their own Spirit guided conscience and scripture.
Saved, baptized members: (Acts 2:38-47) a believer must give a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and identify their union with Christ by way of baptism.
Two Offices: (I Timothy 3:1-7, 8-13; Titus 1) Pastor and Deacon.
Separation of Church and State: (Romans 13; Daniel 3:12)
